    I agree.

I love so much, everything that you mentioned here. They are all in my Top 10. But my number ONE is Cry Pretty at 2018 ACM Awards and at 2018 Top 5 Show of American Idol on ABC. I will include I Told You So with Randy Travis at Grand Ole Opry Week at FOX American Idol and Something In The Water at the last season of American Idol on FOX.

I can't link to it, because I've never uploaded it to Youtube, but Chaser at the Fan Club Party in 2017. Just because...it's Chaser, lol.

Glenn, I've noticed that for the past couple of months every so often they've been airing the HGTA Opry special. Its on some channel I didn't even know that I had!!!! I've been meaning to watch it but its been at some odd hours so I haven't caught it yet but I'm hoping to.

Remember how they night they recorded the special, Carrie wanted to do it over again so she ran off stage and Loretta swatted Carrie on her behind!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA I'll never forget her running off the stage!!

Blown Away and Two Black Cadillacs at the Grammys.

I Know You Won't at the People's Choice Awards.

San Antonia Rose and Desperado at the Grammys. I think these two performances have been my secret favourites because I used to listen to them on repeat. I sing too (not professionally) and these two were the first two songs I learnt to sing and tried developing a similar vocal technique to Carrie's. Learning the way she enunciated, emoted and soared.

I can't rank them but here are some I enjoy, all for different reasons. Some for their vocal precision and some because they were just electrifying.

    - IKYW from the PCAs.
    - LN from the Grammys.
    - Literally ALL CP performances.
    - CCA from CMA Fest.

(Looking back, to post references, I realized that some of my favourite performances. that used to be on You Tube, no longer appear to be available. These include the Opry performances of "Crazy Dreams", and "Thank God for Home Towns", and the UK daytime television performance of "Smoke Break", with a stripped down band. I do have copies, but I wish that things wouldn't just disappear from the on-line channels)

I agree that "How Great Thou Art" (the Girls Night Out version, with Vince Gill) will always be one the standout moments in her career. It has a special significance for me, because I've often seen a line of career progression in Country Music from Connie Smith to Carrie - they share the priority they give to the Opry, and the determination not to promote deliberately to other formats, despite the temptations - and they share this hymn as one of their signature performances. If anyone would like to compare their versions, you can see Connie's here
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9o3hXnssbq0
There are obvious signs of the progression of time - both are beautiful, but I think Carrie's version is subtly more complex in musical and vocal phrasing - taking it to a new dimension for a new generation.

A special favourite for me must always be the Good Morning America performance of "Flat On The Floor"
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvyZc2dn5WQ
Fresh from a recommendation from Ashley Monroe (who co-wrote the song), this was the very first time I'd seen Carrie anywhere. I've watched many earlier performances since - but this was my first introduction to her.

Turning back to the Opry - where I feel her performances are often fresher, and more musically organic, than the concert clips that often get posted - these are some standouts for me
"Wine After Whiskey" - a torch ballad, in a style she's tended to use sparingly , but seems right in place here
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n4OSlpnD_4

An impromptu duet (with a singer who obviously loves her) - Carrie doesn't do as many duets as I would like, nor does she show as often how good she can be in Country Rock - done here with horns on the Opry stage. And bear in mind that this was unrehearsed!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w40796QXVQ

But for recent performances, I have to go for this one - absolutely fantastic, coming out of a dark time, launching a new career stage, and facing the joy of a new pregnancy. This performance, in this place, makes me think of 'the last Country waltz, on the last hardwood floor, for the last Country boy and girl' - before 'dissension has driven us apart'. And that magical moment at around 2.24, with Ed and Syndi, as the inro into that complex whirl of progression in the songs finish. This performance seems to encapsulate the two elements in Carrie's style that I admire most!

Based on ones that I have rewatched over and over again on youtube (and just rewatched today again) would be:

Church Bells - CMT awards. That ending where shes belting with the choir! gahhh
Blown Away Medley - Killed it! apparently no one could get up on their feet after she just slayed their faces off
HGTA with vince Gill - watched this a million times
Paradise City - CMA Fest she totally nailed it
Church Bells - ACMs. Love when she plays the drums!
So Small - CMAs in that yellow dress. (also love the CMA songwriters version)

Ok theres too many. Alone, Fix You, CCA, BHC......I could go on forever

My favorites have changed through the years so it's really hard - love every performance as she is just that good. Latest favorite is Softly and Tenderly - that was beyond moving and was pure perfection but do love many mentioned by others above!!! You can't take someone with her talent and just pick one - be easier to pick the ones you didn't care for and then it would be you really didn't care for the song more than how she sang it!!

I loved "San Antonio Rose" from the 2006 Grammy awards. Totally forgot about that one.

"I Told You So" - Opry 2008, when Randy surprised her, praised her performance of his hit and asked her if she wanted to be a member.
