    Predictions for 2018

It’s that time of year. To start making predictions for the next year! haha what do you all think Carrie and her team have in store for us for 2018?!

I’m thinking album #6 release on March 9th. With first week album sales around 205,000.

First single released around Grammys/Super Bowl. I’ll say January 22nd.

And then the tour from summer through late Fall

Dare I say it...FVOTY at CMAs and EOTY at 2019 ACMs

And I like being optimistic, so Album of the Year at CMAs, Grammys (2019), and ACM Awards (2019)!

If the first single is a huge hit, I’m thinking first week album sales to be around 300K.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but I think it's highly unlikely she'll even hit 200k first week. Hardly anybody is doing that these days since no one really buys music anymore.
I'd say between 130-165k is probably more likely, especially if she's releasing in the first half of the year. Album openings are much bigger in the last quarter of the year.

But artists are doing bundle deals with their tours and boosting their album sales substantially. P!nk did this deal and topped 400k, for the best sales week of her career. Kenny Chesney moved over 200k with a live album of old material. 300k, can be easily achieved if her team goes this route.
