Frank Sinatra is one of my favorites. Yeah so happy for Carrie. Can't wait to hear how she sings one of his songs. Sony does get her exciting projects.

She definitely would, and so many of his other great songs. Just hope she doesn't sing It Had to Be You. What a treat to get to hear her sing another of the old standards and showcase the versatility of her beautiful voice.

Lack of sleep is getting to me. My brain read Carrie singing a Frank in tune? And since I know Carrie is in the most part in tune (not going to say always since i haven't heard Carrie sing 100% of the time) so i took that to mean wow no one has ever sung a Frank song in tune, and you can't wait for Carrie to crush it.

Lack of sleep stayed up all night finishing up a paper over technological surveillance, just got home from school only slept for 2 non consecutive hours

I just don't understand why it is that the 100 years in a row winner of Female Country Vocalist, is never asked to do these sorts of things. It is mind boggling that someone who can obviously sing anyone under the table, seems to always be left under the table.

^because the entire world outside of Nashville knows Carrie is a much better vocalist and the true face of country music for this new generation. Sadly- Naahville continues to try to force a certain person on the world but the public is not buying it.

I was going to comment on this but I concluded that all those vocalist awards are worthless. They were given, not awarded or deserved. Whatever. Carrie was chosen for this honor and That says more than anything to the powers that be.

....... just think of the last ten years, and the number of times she has had the opportunity to lend her voice to projects. She is truly appreciated for that one thing that can not be denied no matter how many awards her direct peer receives.
