Carrie sang at The Madison Square Garden with her own tour??

    Question:

Carrie sang at The Madison Square Garden with her own tour??

I just read that Luke Bryan sold out 2 shows in minutes.

I think she sang with Keith Urban at the MSG?

But what about the Play On Tour or Blown Away Tour?

    Not yet.

And I would rather she planned a one-off at MSG and taped it and made a big deal of it.

Just using it as a venue on your tour is not quite the same to me.

That is to take nothing at all from Luke. I think it is great!!

But for Carrie, I would just love for her to do it there one time with an orchestra and have it be a real planned event.

Yes I agree. If Carrie does Madison Square Garden with orchestra she should tape it. That's great idea.

I know Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source, but they're usually pretty good on this information, and it says that she started off her Carnival Ride headlining tour at Madison Square Garden. She didn't play it on the Play On or Blown Away tours, though.

I think that was a co-headlining with Keith Urban.

Carrie has never headlined MSG herself, that was a a concert with Keith

I, myself, don't see the big deal about MSG.It's just an arena. Not like the Hollywood Bowl, which she has played, which is an epic concert venue.

Ahh, sorry about that. You guys are right. The list didn't have the concert of Carrie and Keith's that I went to, so I figured it was solo, but you're definitely right, it was a co-headliner.

But the MSG is such a huge thing worldwide, even the biggest latin artists sing at that arena and make of it a huge huge thing! I think is the best well known arena in the world. lol

Great for Luke to sale out so quickly but I am suspicious now when I hear how fast they sell out that the limit the no. of seats initialy to a minute amt. and that is why they get the saleouts so fast. Then of course the ideal of quick saleouts breed a frenzy need to buy or u will get left out.

I saw Carrie coheadline at Madison Square Garden with Keith Urban and she also opened for Kenny. But yeah it is high time she headlined there!!!!

she sold out the Staples Center and Hollywood Bowl in LA- so if she can do that- she can sell out MSG.

I am a bit tired of waiting already! Lol she better book it for next tour!

madison on square Garden has tons of season ticket holders- so half the venue is already sold out before Luke sells a single ticket. Lol

The Knicks play there among other teams. It is not hard to sell out. Carrie can easily sell it out if Luke can. Time for her team
    to go for it already!

it it is a big deal like the Staples Center or Hollywood Bowl- it is a right of passage.

traditionally - they say you officially made it when you headline MSG. I hope she does it next tour. I am tired if waiting. Lol

i saw her there with Keith and it was great- but I want her to headline.

For me, playing Royal Albert Hall is much more impressive. Anyone can play MSG. Not everyone gets to play there.

Carrie would be perfect for Royal Albert Hall. Now that would be a perfect place to record one of her concerts for DVD.

While I would usually agree with you, Luke is selling out and selling out full capacity. I recently bought tickets to Rupp Arena and they are selling all section of the arena that are open for concerts. I would assume he is doing full capacity at MSG as well. Luke is just that popular right now, whether anyone here wants to believe it or not.

^^He's a nice guy and can take a joke (i.e. Brad & Carrie's jokes with him). I don't like all of his songs, but I can deal with him because he is such a nice guy :-)

agree MSG like the Staples Center and other big arenas are just that - big arenas.Anyone and their brother can play them. They're all the same.

Now we want to talk real prestigious...to me that's Carnegie Hall.I hope someday Carrie gets to play there.
And how does she get there? practice, practice, practice :-)
