These are my predictions right now..

    Country Solo Performance
    Carrie Underwood - Blown Away
    Miranda Lambert - Over You
Luke Bryan - Drunk on You
Kenny Chesney - Come On Over
    Eric Chief - Springsteen

I also think Jana Kramer or Hunter Hayes may sneak a nomination.. not entirely positive about it though, I'd like Hunter to get a nomination.

    Country Song
    Carrie Underwood - Blown Away
    Eric Chief - Springsteen
Lady Antebellum - Dancing Away With My Heart
    T-Swizzle ft/The Civil Wars - Safe & Sound
    Blake Shelton - Over

I have no idea how this is going to work, but this year was a relatively weak year for country.. I think Carrie and Miranda were the only true country stars this last year.

    Country Album
    Carrie Underwood - Blown Away
Miranda Lambert - Four the Record
Kenny Chesney - Welcome to the Fishbowl
    Zac Brown Band - Uncaged
    Little Big Town - Tornado

Kellie Pickler's 100 Proof is the only other one I think can get a nomination.. or Tuskagee.

Either way, I think it's going to be a big year for Carrie with the Grammys.

I like alot of your picks and agree with many.

But I don't think Kenny Chesney will get in for "Come on Over." It was not a very big hit really, and he is not a Grammy darling by any means as they snub him alot. So I think Jason Aldean will get the last slot for "Fly Away States." Also, never ever count of Taylor Swift, sadly. She might get in for "Ours." Grammys seem to love her, sadly.

    So I predict this:

    Country solo Performance:

    Miranda- Over You
    Jason- Fly Over States
    Eric Church- Springsteen
    Carrie-- Blown Away
    Luke Bryan- Drunk on You

    Alternate:
    Taylor- Ours
    Dierks: Home

    Country Album:

    Mirnada- 4 the Record
    Carrie- Blown Away
    Dierks Bentley
    Little Big Town- Tornado
    Zac Brown Band

Kenny is once again not a Grammy favorite, and his album didn't get much buzz. I think it got mediocre/decent reviews, but not good enough to break through here.

    Country Song:

    Springsteen- Eric Church
    Over You- Mirnada
    Home- Dierks
    Drunk on You- Luke
    Blown Away- Carrie*
    Pontoon- LBT*

Not sure if Blown Away will get in for song, but it has a chance.

    Vocal Duo/Group:

    Pontoon- LBT
Roll Me Up= Willie & Snoop Dog
Lady Antebelluim-- not sure which song
Taylor and Civil Wars- Safe and Sound

I forgot about Taylor Swift.. X_X

Alright so my revised prediction for the country field is...

    Country Solo Performance
    Carrie Underwood - Blown Away
    Miranda Lambert - Over You
    Taylor Swift - Ours
Luke Bryan - Drunk on You
    Eric Chief - Springsteen

Country songs is tricky for me, I'm not sure if there are many groups/duos who had big songs released this year and besides S&S and DAWMH I can't think of any others. If that's the case though, I'm worried Blown Away might no get a Country Song nomination because I have this terrible feeling they'd give Taylor a nomination there to.

What I'd love the nominees for Country Song to look like,

    Carrie Underwood - Blown Away
    Hunter Hayes - Wanted
    Eric Chief - Springsteen
Lady Antebellum - Dancing Away With My Heart
Eli Young Band - Even if it Breaks Your Heart

    Who the Grammy's will nominate..

    Taylor Swift - Ours
Taylor Swift ft/The Civil Wars - Safe & Sound
Jason Aldean - Fly Over States
    Eric Chief - Springsteen
Carrie Underwood - Blown Away / Miranda Lambert - Over You

I think Little Big Town may score a Country Song of the Year with Pontoon though, and I wouldn't necessary be that upset if that got a nomination.

    Country Album of the Year
    Carrie Underwood - Blown Away
Miranda Lambert - Four the Record
    Little Big Town - Tornado
    Zac Brown Band - Uncaged
Scott McCreery - Clear As Day

I forgot about Scotty, he may get a few nominations to.. hopefully not though because his work is terrible.

Will Kellie Pickler even be able to get nominated seeing she's not with a label now?

Kellie signed with a label. I saw it yesterday. I wasn't familiar with the name of her label tho.

It's a cover that was released on a compilation CD (specifically a Bob Dylan tribute) for amnesty international, it's one of my favorite songs she's recorded.

Do you think Miley might snag a nomination for that song? Or is it way out of the question?

^ Yes Miley said she is scared to go into country music because it is hard to break in or there are too many rules or something like that. To be fair-- she speaks the truth. lol

I doubt Miley will be nominated as she has never been nominated for a Grammy before....but I do like her cover of this song.

i for one am going to be shocked if Frank Ocean doesn't get a nom for AOTY- mainly because his album according to wikipedia gotten a mediacritic score of 92 i repeat a 92, and all of the other artists that submitted for album of the year has a mediacritic score of 60 or 70 something except for ML FTR which has a mediacritic score of 85 i think, but imo an average score of 92 out of 46 reviews is really impressive imo.

Agree! I love Pink and her album deserves a Pop Album nom-- but Carrie deserves to get in for the Country slot of Album of the year.

We have waited a long time for this. It is time.

I think Carrie Underwood has a better chance than Miranda just because, Blown Away was able to prove Carrie grows with every album. Four the Record - a great album to, isn't really Miranda's best work and didn't show any artistic growth.

As of now I think if there is a country album nominated for album of the year this year it's going to be between Carrie and The Zac Brown Band.

lol i heard him on the awards show a few weeks ago, i dont know wat everyone is crazy bout hes nothing special. I think the grammy voters like to play safe with carrie always nominating her but for the country genre section only, JTTW was for song of the year cuz carrie was the IT girl of music that year.
