female artist is a definite. what is the elgiibility period? is BA (single) going to be available for noms, or is it not going to be available for nomination(s) until 2013 aca awards?

The show is December 10th and Carrie has off. She finishes her Canadian leg in Toronto on the 9th, then has a show in Ohio on the 11th. It would be very hard for her to make it, but technically, it could be done. lol

i like how there isn't alot of buzz, a beside we're in the technology era/age and with twitter/re-tweets a good portion of country fans will know about it and besides do we actually did to know when the noms are coming out a month(s)in advance? (sure it gives people something to look forward too) but it also can make the days feel like it is going by slower, nerves starts to rise cause you want your favorite artist latest album to be nominated for album of the year, along with other noms etc. etc. and besides when your artist isn't nominated for the one award that you REALLY wanted her/him/they to be nominated for you are just left disappointed, mad, angry, etc. etc.

That's true...I'm hoping for Artist, Female Artist, Female Album, Female Single and Female Music Video (we got these 5 for PO and BA is a much stronger set!)

Album of the Year - Blown Away
Single of the Year - Good Girl (Bigger sales compared to Blown Away at the moment)
Single of the Year: Female - Good Girl
Single of the Year: Vocal Collaboration - Remind Me (This is unsure, but will see)
Touring Headline Package of the Year (Eligible right?)
Music Video of the Year - Blown Away
Music Video: Female - Blown Away
Music Video: Duo, Group or Collaboration - Remind Me (Will see...)
And the next day, the headline will be: Carrie Underwood leads the ACAs with 10 nominees!

At the 2010 ceremonies Rascal Flatts received the Decade Award, Toby Keith received the Visionary Artist award and Alan Jackson received the Greatest Hits Artist award. In 2011 Alabama received the Greatest Hits Artist award and Toby Keith was Artist of the Decade.

I just have to laugh that they have given out a decade award for two years in a row now. The fact that the award title includes the word "decade" should indicate that it should be given out every 10 years for the artist that does the most in that decade. I guess that's not what the ACAs are going for with this award though lol.
Anyway, I fully expect to see Carrie get several nominations tomorrow morning. I also expect Luke Bryan to get lots of love.
