Big Nagging Question. H0w do Carrie's Meet & Greets Work?

Well in my M&G they didn't put us in any particular order so we just got in line so the fan club members were mixed with the radio contest winners and whoever else was there. There were about 35-40 people and she does sign stuff. It's best to go last, going first everyone's looking at you and you feel rushed but Carrie doesn't rush you at all. However it's best not to sound like a dork when you talk to her. I'll have to try that next time. lol.

I read over at the fan club that they're only having a professional photographer do the M&G pictures now.

i know that one! the lady who was running it pushed me up to Carrie and made me go first! I had so many things i wanted to say- but nothing came out. it was silent. and awkward. and i just stared at her. rofl;

Hopefully if I get the chance again, I'll be less awkward. I don't know if I like them controlling the m/g photos. I wonder if you get to see it before you're done...

Me too!! I'm officaly joining the fan club next month, when I have money I went to her unplugged performance and she was literally 10 feet away from! She smiled and waved at me a couple times but I didn't get to actually meet her and say hi. There was one moment when I was singing along to DYTAM and she caught me and for some reason I stopped, guess I was embarassed or star struck and she just gave me this huge smile and a look like, "No, keep singing." And then I smiled back and continued. My Underwood moment

If I remember correctly I think that Vitamin water also had people attend her meet and greet. Since her concert is sponsored by Olay too maybe they will offer some M&Gs.

I could think of other ways but it might get you arrested. lol.

A couple of the people who posted from last night's concert said that they were able to see it on a tv screen first but I'm not sure if that was because it was a special taping last night for Vh1 or if that's the new policy because they're using a professional photographer.

How easy/hard is it to get one? I'm thinking about buying tix and traveling to a show before the snow starts flying, and obviously I would want to be able to apply for it if I decide to go. They pick 15 people y'all said? How many normally enter?

I got my meet and greet a VERY odd way. I didnt get the meet and greet through the fanclub or through any other contest. It started out with My boyfriend posting on the Facebook page of my local radio station telling them my "life fan story" of Carrie and the kind of fan i am. then it escalated to some of my other closer friends seeing what my boyfriend did and also posted on the radio stations wall of my story. Then went crazy with tons of family and friends doing the same thing. I think about 50 people posted on their wall. it was crazy! it was interesting how many people knew how dedicated i am to Carrie and what kind of fan i am, that they were all willing to do this for me.

a couple days went by, i really was not expecting anything until i was in the Wal-Mart parking lot when i got a facebook message from Savannah Jones from 99.5 The Wolf and she said that My biggest dreams were going to come true in a matter of days. I stopped in the parking lot and my boyfriend kept walking. i just stood their staring at my phone. lmao. I then jumped up and down and had a ridiculous smile on my face and screamed. lol.

When you go to the event page on the FC, you'll see how many people going. I can only assume that the number of people going are the same number of people who apply for a meet and greet. So if you're a lucky person, you could get picked but if you're not such a lucky person then the higher number of people going works against you. I think it's about 10-15 people who actually get picked but I don't know the exact number.
