Do we know what Carrie's going to permorm??? I hope she sings her new and yet unknown next single.

I love Toby Keith sometimes. lol I am glad someone is not afraid to speak out at the BS.
Yeah, this almost makes up for Red Solo Cup.
^ ha ha I knew you would love this Nicole. He is the country version of Axl. ha ha
I kinda hate Toby Keith, I couldn't care less about him not going.
^ I like him because he is not afraid to speak his mind. lol The CMAS deserve it sometimes.
Carrie should win FVOTY. But she won't. Seems like when voters are done with you, they're done. Miranda shouldn't win this year. She had huge momentum, and let's just be honest... she couldn't take it to the next level.

Well I hope they aren't done with her and yes she definitely should win this year. They can't give it to Miranda from here on out and I don't see them giving it to Taylor. Until there is another female to compete with Carrie, Miranda and Taylor I think FVOTY is always going to be between Carrie and Miranda. I just don't think the CMA's will give Taylor another vocalist award. I hope they just give Miranda Song of the year this year. I think they need to spread the awards around this time. It's time for someone else to win album too.
the cma's are thursday so lets enjoy a part of Carrie's and Brad hosting from the 2011 cma's while we wait for the big news announcement tomorrow, and of course to see Carrie and Brad host the cma's on Thursday

That is what I was wondering too. If they really are done with Carrie no matter how successful
she is-- what will they do?? Keep giving it to Miranda indefinitely? Mirandas momentum has stalled lately so what are they going to do now? Keep ignoring carrie?
Honestly, I don't think they'll continue ignoring Carrie. Here's what i'm thinking. Given the new Billboard chart rules, Carrie is the ONLY female that could compete with Taylor. I think (or at least hoping) that things will begin to shift back to Carrie. It'll be Carrie and Taylor dominating for a while, imo.
Taylor Swift

Miranda Lambert
Represents Country Music INSIDE of Country Music.
Carrie Underwood
Represents Country Music INSIDE & OUTSIDE of Country Music
I cannot understand how they could give the FV award to anyone but Carrie. No one has come close to the success Carrie had in early-mid 2012. Miranda beating Carrie is a complete joke. It will be like what they used to do with Shania. They advertised the heck out of her to get ratings then totally snubbed her. By the time she won Entertainer it was like big deal, this awards show is complete bs. But I continue to watch it and root for my favorites to win. lol
I know this should be the least of my worries, but I hope I don't miss this because of Sandy...
We're all ready, as ready as we can be... this is just surreal. They're saying this is the "greatest threat to human life in our lifetime in the Northeastern United States". Typically I'm one to defer hype, but this is real. This storm and it affects are going to be massive... and OF COURSE, I'm in one of the states in its path, they're expecting 6-12 feet of flooding on our coast in Long Island Sound, and the winds will be sustained at 50+mph for over 48 hours!!! Wish me luck, and to all you other Mid-Atlanticers and New-Englanders, best wishes and stay safe!
Sorry to get off topic, but I figured this deserved at least one post. And expect ratings to be way down. If on Thursday megalopolis is still powerless, that's ~10-20 million people. The most populous region of the country will likely all be in the dark for days...
