Question for Canadians about CCMAs

I just read that several Americans will be performing at the CCMAs in september including Jason Aldean and Miranda etc.

I am just curious: for seven years Carrie has never once got to perform at this event despite having lots of success in Canada. You don't need a nomination to perform as miranda and jason are not nominated, nor were many of the former american country singers performing. So i am just curious if you think carrie will ever be invited to perform there? I am

Perhaps Carrie was asked in past but couldn't make it?

It just seems like a great chance to promote carrie in Canada.

I'm sure she's been asked in the past. I wish she would perform or at least make an appearance.

I don't know why she hasn't done it before, but to be honest I'm not sure it would make much of a difference. Maybe radio stations would take notice, but I don't know that many people who actually watch the CCMAs, so I don't necessarily think it would be exposing her to anyone new.

Thanx. I had no idea what the ratings were, etc. I assumed it was big like the JUNO awards etc.

Yeah, nobody watches the CCMA's. But I have noticed so far, this is the best Carrie's has ever done on Canadian iTunes.
