Some Teen Choice Awards Info: Performers/Attendees (aka Winners) announced

The Teen Choice awards announced performers and people attending.

Sadly-- Taylor is announced as attending, so that means she won Country Artist again, since they tell the winners in advance. Carrie is not listed as attending.

I don't care that much about this to be honest-- but it would have been nice for Carrie to perform at this event just once in her career as I think she should try to win back some of her younger teen fans who used to like her before defecting to Taylor.

No reason they can't like both of them, right?

Anyway----the main reason I posted this is to warn people in advance that it may not be worth watching the show. They always tell the winners in advance. Taylor's appearance is an obvious affirmation that she won-- since she is not performing.

but the voting for teen choice awards isn't over. and how do we know that swsrn won country artist, she was nominated for other awards also, maybe she going to win one of those. the voting for that show doesn't end until July 21. and i am guessing that by schedule to appear means that SWSRN is going to present an award, introduce a band/artist or something. there is no way to know who is going to win, at the moment since the voting is still open for another couple of weeks.

SWSRN has a nom for female artist, single by a female artist, female country artist, country song. choice voice, also the hunger games has some nominees which SWSRN recorded two songs for the hunger game soundtrack.

She probably won all of them-- everything she is nominated for. They should just call these things the Taylor/Bieber/Miley Awards and call it a day. lol

They should just do away with this, the Fox country "awards" show and the PCA's while they are at it.

I kind of like the PCAS as it is a chance for Carrie to mingle with people she doesn't normally get to meet-- ie- Sandra Bullock, Kate Hudson, etc. Lots of big stars go there so it was kind of amazing when Carrie performed IKYW in front of Robin williams and Hugh Laurie.

but the Teen choice awards really are a joke. The only reason I remotely wanted Carrie to attend was possibly to perform BA or GG in front of the teens due to their massive buying power. I don't care about the surfboards or if Carrie loses. She has 2 wins from them so that is fine.

since SWSRN only tweeted to her fans to vote for her once so far. i think someone else has a chance at winning. think about it SWSRN didn't win any kids choice awards, and those who voted for kids choices are going to vote for teen choice awards. well SWSRN won the big help award but that isn't fan voted.

Who knows. You may be right. But this is Taylor's Turf-- not Carrie's. Taylor is still a teen in their eyes, so they think she is one of them and adore her. Her songs are still targeted for teens and highschool too....so it is really hard for Carrie to beat her on her turf.

However-- I still think a performance and appearance by Carrie at the TCAS would help her a bit to remind the younger fans that she is still around too-- it is not all about Taylor. (sigh)

Lauren alaina is nominated for teen choice country artist and she is a teenager, she came in second place on idol she only has three award nominations so far. one cmt award she lost to scotty, and two teen choice awards, which she isn't competing against scotty.

Since most of SWSRN's fans are mostly between the ages of 10 and 18 I figured she would win everything. I can hardly wait for 10 years from now when she's in her 30s and still singing about high school boyfriends. I wonder what's going to happen to her fanbase then.

not to slam any artists out there, but i kindda like that Carrie is seen as a distinguished artist with a mature fanbase. Obviously having a teen fanbase is great in way of selling stuff, but teens tend to be annoying fans (and i say that as a teen myself). I like it that Carrie is respected by the opry-gooers and older generations

I see where Tee is coming from (good exposure for Carrie), but to be honest, I don't know that anyone cares about this award show anymore. It's for those "annoying teenagers" (JOKING ) I have a couple of teenagers and they don't care about this show and most of their friends don't care about this show.

when I was younger and was a teenager I used to watch them but as I got older, I could really give a hoot about them lol most of the time Bieber and Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez and all them win every single award and TV shows and movies that win are all the stupid movies and TV shows...these awards are a waste of time in my opinion

The Teen Choice Awards are so lame. I'm not even an American teenager but I think that! I don't really care if Carrie doesn't win, it's not that important but it would be nice if she did [win].
