Alright, I've been debating this ever since the tour dates were announced, but I am just not sure what to do. The Blown Away Tour is not coming to my city, Omaha, this fall and the closest city where I could see her is Des Moines (two hours away). However, when the dates of the Play On tour were announced Omaha wasn't listed at first, but later was announced as part of the fall leg. So I guess my dilemma is: Do I get tickets for the Des Moines show? Should I wait to see if Carrie schedules a date in Omaha later? What if I wait, but she never makes it here? A show here would be cheaper because I wouldn't have to make the drive. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't be able to afford to go to both shows. I have until December to decide this, but I just want to know what you guys think

if you have until decemeber and if carrie decided to add another leg of the tour in the spring, then the spring dates might be released by then, i'll say wait and see what happens.
I would get the tickets for Des Moines - why take a chance of not seeing her at all if they don't add Omaha
I'd go now & then I'd go later....
Thiafood is right. Save your money in between shows, lol.
Do the American shows tend to sell out? If that's a risk, and you can get there, I'd be inclined to buy them now, and then re-sell them if you found a better venue later
I am in a similar position, and I'm waiting it out only because other factors are in play now for me. However, last tour, I took the chance that she was not coming closer to home, and went to kanata, and because I was right - she didn't - I would had to pay about the same money for the Toronto show. If your reading this, carrie, please come to Halifax, nova scotia again! Lol
I would definitely buy a ticket to see her in Des Moines. What if she doesn't add Omaha? Even if she did, it would be so far away you'd have a lot of time to save up for a concert ticket and it's not like you would need to save for gas or hotel or anything if it's in your own town! Just my own thoughts...I say do it!!
That happened to me last year, the first part was in Atlantic City (2 to 2 1/2 hours away); the second half was closer -- I went to both of them. This year they are so close together that I can only go to one.
Personally, I wouldn't wait, but that's just me. If you prefer to wait and she doesn't come to your city on the second leg of the tour, she may go another city that you can drive to.
I would buy it now as if there is no next time![]()
Thanks for the input you guys. I will probably go and buy my ticket for Des Moines now, but does anyone know (approx.) when the Spring dates will be announced?
Two hours away is not that bad actually! I will drive from Montreal to Ottawa to see Carrie on December 8!![]()

Boy that is a tough situation that you are in especially when you could have bad weather to deal with in December, I would lean towards getting to tickets for the Des Moines show and hope that the weather isn't nasty.
I would wait and see what happens.
Sell your house and go to both.
Do the Des Moines show!![]()
