I went to my first fan club party this June and was really shocked at how low key everyone was, just sitting. But after Carrie sang a few songs I understood why, you just want to enjoy her and take it all in!

Carrie has grown so much as a performer since AI yet somehow I still always find her covers most interesting because of her selection and her interpretation. That inxs cover - there was so much emotion and charisma in that performance.

I love Carrie's covers too mainly it is something new but hey we got to knowing her through her covers so that may be the intrigue. I hope she does a cover on her U.S. tour.

In my opinion, Carrie is one of the BEST artist who can sing somebody else's song, and it sounded as good as the original. When Carrie sings somebody else's song, she tries befaithful to the original version.

I am so glad carrie has such loyal International fans cuz even I had pretty much given up on Carrie ever going overseas. Lol

So 2012 gave us a few big surprises: she joined twitter, did an overseas tour at last, finally won a few awards at the cmts after a long awards drought... Plus she did a duet with Aerosmith that comes out this fall, and created her first actual social/poltical controversy! Haha

Not a bad start to the year.
