Great news, so those who don't read my thread - Carrie goes no.1 on CMC Australia with GG & therefore joins CMT & GAC etc as an international no.1 music video! This is Carrie's first Aussie no.1 since Temporary Home!

Believe it or not, Carrie has never had an Aussie no.1 on country radio (I Told You So was her best run spending 4 weeks at no.2!) but hopefully GG ends that in a few months as it is about to go top20 on country radio!

Its a different story with the music videos though - GG joins 5 others to hit no.1 on CMC since 2006 -

DFTRM - 1 week
BHC - 2 weeks
W - 1 week
LN - 2 weeks
TH - 1 week
GG - 1 maybe 2 weeks!

Awesome!! It's not been released here in NZ - or if it has I haven't seen it on NZ TV.
I think Blown Away will do alot better here as that seems to be the song alot of kiwis like. My parents let me play the CD in the car on a recent trip and that was the only song they liked, in fact they loved it and played it a few times.

Just got the official update for this week for country radio -

GG up another 4 spots to no.18 on our mediabase
GG is sitting top4 on billboard (as of a few weeks ago after only a few weeks!) but we've really got no way of monitoring this chart unless a label announces an official position or no.1 (in an article for instance) unless u pay the very expensive subscription. I suggest GG is top4 or top3 on this chart otherwise we would of heard from Sony if it's no.1 as to further promote the tour etc!

This is only GG's 5th week charting on country radio here, we are behind here, so the focus is all on GG & Blown Away won't start charting till August/September. The music video though, as shown by this thread with GG on CMC, is up to date with the CMT/GAC USA release thankgod!

I have to say, I'm surprised GG is the only song from "Blown Away" that your parents like. There are so many great songs on it. Did they like any music from Carrie's other CD's?
