Good Girl Sent To Top40/Pop Radio Australia Plus High Profile Radio Interview!

Hi all!

The title says it all - the start of an international crossover! I'm sure Good Girl will do way better than Undo It here especially with the increasing promo/exposure since last years promo tour!

I'm pretty sure this was on NOVA.fm - one of Sydney's top/biggest stations! I was @ work & all of a sudden Carrie clips come ob the radio changing from JTTW to Wasted etc & then boom Carrie comes on for a interview - how awesome! I was @ work & wasn't expecting this so I stopped what I was doing & listened! Lol

The interview was really good, they talked about the tour, to expect a mix of her hits & new BA tracks, her redneck Aussie country side to her on Cupid & about remixing which was really interesting! Carrie implied her stance of no for remixing & her strong stand for country music, bless her, but said (after the interviewer suggested it) that who knows maybe a pop feature/duet could be down the lines soon, like a 'David Guetta ft.Carrie Underwood' etc! Pretty awesome but I'm pretty sure Carrie played on this a bit tongue in cheek but that a pop/mainstream duet could be install!

Then they played Good Girl which sounded absolutely awesome on mainstream radio! This is gonna b a big hit! All of Carrie's clips they played, which were her country singles, sounded great on there too & like they belong! The power of Carrie Underwood!

Hopefully we can find the whole interview on the net - NOVAfm! I'd like to hear it again & the rest of it I didn't hear as well!

and YAY about a second show in sydney! that marks the first time in carrie's career she added a second show, i think???

The interview has been done, it was on radio this arvo! I'll head to their website & try to find it!

Maybe, & I think they should add a 2nd London England show - maybe they weren't expecting that to sell out as quick! Some European/Asian dates in the future will be nice or some promo! Didn't Brad tour Europe recently?

They added a Ravinia show last time. It is a smaller sit down venue Maybe 4,000. With the lawn seats (they could listen) it is over 10,000. Both shows sold out including lawn. I think it was a Sunday and Monday.

That's awesome! I'm glad Carrie is gaining some recognition in Australia. It's great that a second show has been added onto the Australian tour. I'm sure Carrie will be visiting Australia more in the future. She seems to have a loyal fan base there. Thank you for posting, AdrianAustraliaCarrie.
