Ok first of all.....LOVE IT BEYOND!!!!!!!!
It is exactly what I would want Carrie doing right now.
It is upbeat! It is Dancable! It is Anthem! It has a flavor that could easily be picked up by the mainstream community.
A few important points for me:
IT is a strong vocal but does not manage to sound oversung at all. It is perfectly set in her voice so there is no concern from critics about oversinging.
IT is a very catchy beat. I have always stated that most of Carries "upbeat music" is not infact upbeat at all but down and funky, and difficult to dance to. This is much closer to the kind of dancable enjoyable beat that people will have fun with on the road at parties and on tour.
And the "bad boy" stuff. I do believe this manages to be a warning as opposed to bashing.
There is no feamle in music right now who is not singing this stuff. It will not effect Carrie negatively in any way.
I can already tell I am gonna love this from start to finish.
Very happy with the new single already.
And I think alot of people are gonna accept this faster than the last few "uptempo" (which really weren't) titles she has done.

Right. That's what I thought. Like a better version of CC. And I know you guys are saying it's more uptempo, but I feel the mood is darker, like how she said the whole album was. When she starts saying, "He's no goooood, girl." I got chills.

I've always thought of Carrie as the new Shania. She doesn't remix like Shania but her music is way more similar to Shania's, as opposed to taylor.
