Carrie on Dubai's radiowaves!!

Hey, I've got some really, REALLY cool news!

So I've been stalking my radio stations here in Dubai for like 2 years now...And one station FINALLY agreed to add Before He Cheats to their list! And they played it yesterday!

Here's the AWESOME part : Since then, it's been played another TWO times......OTHER PEOPLE HAVE STARTED REQUESTED BEFORE HE CHEATS!!!

I'm so happy!! I actually spread Carrie around

Obviously I'm not gonna get too excited about this, but I may have greatly contributed to Carrie's next single being sent to Dubai.

Yeah, it's a super-cool place. Only flaw was no one liked Carrie, but I'm working over-time to fix that!

I wanted some advice from you guys. Now that they've taken to BHC to a small extent, how should I go about getting them to add the other songs? Also, which songs should I beg them to add? Dubai's a very pop market, and we also tend to take SHORT songs. So I was thinking UI might be a good pick.

Apparently SS was released to radio here, but unfortunately it never took off. I just found that out today.

Knowing it is Dubai, I would advise you maybe you can ask them to play Upbeat, Fun songs that have good beats like "Un Do it" or "Wasted", "All American Girl" (maybe).

That's what I thought too. BHC has already been loaded onto all radio stations here, but no one plays it (until now ). The only other song they have, that they were SENT to play, was SS, and that flopped.

So, while the sudden Carrie interest is still high, I wanna call them and pester them to add at least ONE more Carrie song. I think I'll go with UI. It's pop, it's a great song, and also the Aussie factor : there are a lot of Australians in Dubai, and several of our RJs here are Aussie. If UI is the song that's hot in A-tralia, then I'll hope to reflect that here in Dubai too!

There are several countdown shows you can vote on, but it's gonna be a loooong while before BHC is popular enough to enter those countdowns (if ever).

Awesome!!! I haven't heard a Carrie song on since radio since BHC about 3 years ago. Then again, I don't listen to the radio much. The videos of EEA and AAG were in rotation in a couple of channels though.

My advice would be to hold back on pushing another Carrie song. Keep requesting BHC and get friends and family to help out if you can. Once it catches on and gets played all over, the radio stations should be very keen to add another Carrie song.
