    I agree the Swifties are who watch the Teen Choice awards since her fans are all kids......They have no clue what talent is.......And these awards are definitely not about that......it's a fixed popularity contest!!!!

    Not voting seriously with Swiftie nominated.........and being that this is the Teen Choice Awards.........our sweet Carrie doesn't stand a chance.......the odds are way against her......I'm not even voting on the CMT's next year after those idiots robbed Carrie and took the nomination away from her at the last minute......only to have Swiftie win......that just made CMT look worse than they already were!!!

    Happy Carrie was nominated but she deserved more then one nomination. Too bad they did away with Breakthrough Movie Star category as Carrie might have been nominated for that.

    We should all vote for Soul Surfer and Anna Sophia Robb though, too.

    Sorry to say it but I see Taylor sweeping this again....but whatever. This is one I don't care too much about. Carrie has never attended yet and never seems to promote herself to her teen fans so I wouldn't expect her to attend this year anyway.


    I am surprised that neither Scotty nor Lauren got nominated. They are HUGE with the teens right now, and they ARE teens. Odd.

    I don't expect carrie to attend either but im not really bothered by it, it's the teen choice awards not the Grammys. I guess im the minority among teens as I can't stand tYlor swift. And I'm not too surprised Scotty or Lauren aren't nominated, none of my friends acknowledge them I'm sure half of them don't even know who they are

    How does Taylor even win a TCA? Her fans aren't even 13! Carrie doesn't need a stupid surf board, the TCA's in my opinion are stupid and pointless.

    Guys - there are still more "waves" coming (more nominations, in other words).

    They added the category last year - "Best American Idol Alum". Carrie's obviously the sure-fire to get a nod for that.

    However, I don't see her winning any. It's okay, though. She has 2 TCA surfboards. She's got a million more honorable awards in her cabinets, anyways, so it's not a big deal if she loses. Let Swifty have the surfboards so she can attempt to look funny by surfing on a stagnant lake in the middle of Japan via satellite like what she did last year.
