Move over Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber, there's a new queen of YouTube.
Carrie Marie Underwood
A HGTA video is now trending on YouTube, the one uploaded by DuetsWithCarrie. As always, this is sure to bring it loads more views, and that's very good news. It's unlikely we'll see the same level of success as we did with "Walk This Way" for several reasons :
a) That was pop-rock. This is gospel-country. Outside of the USA, few people are going to have heard of Carrie or Vince.
b) That was STEVEN EFFING TYLER! Vince Gill is going to draw fewer people.
c) Worst of all, there are over twenty good quality videos of the performance. That's gonna split the view-count like crazy.
All that said and done, yay! More views for Carrie
The video is currently at 300,000 views. I project it will reach a million before slowing down.

Yeah it probably won't do nearly as well as Walk This Way did, even though I think HGTA was 1000x better. At least its still getting a ton of views though. So awesome!
357,016 views NOW!
Let's help increase the views by sharing this at our Facebook and twitter![]()
^^ Not on twitter, but shared on FB Friday!![]()
#1 MOST VIEWED (MUSIC) TODAY!It's on fire!
If she can keep this up through the CMT Music Awards, CMA Fest, and with the "Remind Me" buzz, she will still own 2011, even though it's supposed to be her "off year"! I don't think there's ever an off DAY (let alone YEAR) in Carrie world.![]()
Update:

I posted the video in my FB. Few friends commented and liked it.
Between all the downloads of this performance its probably close tp 750,00 when you look at them all. The numbers on this download shows over 500k then you click and iy shows the 421 etc I view 3 times and the numbers have not updated so may be much higher
its still trending with 425,281 views (uploaded by duetswithcarrie) with 868 comments![]()
I posted this video on facebook, and automatically, my voice teacher said that it's his favorite song and he loved that Carrie made a renditionHe even said that Carrie's voice is very "malupet" (really great!) =))
"I feel like it's not about the accolades or the sales numbers or the, you know, awards or any of that. It's about helping people with their lives and making a difference that way."
