It's def. going to be on Fox, supposedly a primetime slot! At like 8 I think. I'm not sure what day... around here at least, Idol Rewind is usually on Friday nights but that's in its syndicated form I believe.

Wow that's awesome that it's going to be on Fox. This will be great for those that wanted all of Carrie's performances on Idol...they will now be able to tape them! Seems like they've been showing Season 2 for a year now LOL. I can see them going straight to Season 4 as Season 4 was the BEST!!!

Carrie will have interviews. Lindsey posted on her facebook that she started AIrewind with Carrie. So I am guessing she has some part in it.

They used to show Rewind on WGN..no one ever watches that, there is nothing on that channel except Friends reruns. I am sooo happy they are playing it on FOX and at night! wahoo!

So true Jeff. I'm so happy we don't have to wait for season three to be aired. However, was Latoya London and Jennifer Hudson competing during that season? They were my favorites. Nonetheless, no season can be more exciting than Season 4, my favorite. AI has lost much of it's excitement for me since Carrie's win. I just can't seem to get too excited about the winners any more. I don't care enough because none of them seem to enthuse me as Carrie Underwood had. I hardly ever vote any more. Yes, I like Daughtry and David Cook, but not enough to buy their CD's. I'll buy anything Carrie records. Can't get enough of listening to her beautiful voice.

I can't remember a show ever going from syndication to network TV. FOX must really be hard up for some ratings.

But Nigel Lithgoe was talking about why they dont reveal who got the most votes each week and he said "for example, during Carrie Underwood's season, we couldnt reveal that because Carrie had the most votes each week, by a lot, and it wouldnt be a good season if everyone pretty much knew Carrie was going to win."

We have to watch every one and get people excited about it again.
To know that fox felt strongly enough about Carrie to actually rerun the entire show in prime time is amazing.
I am again surprised by how much strength Carrie shows in evidence of the amount of publicity she creates just around her name.
No wonder they didn't release a best of dvd for her, they knew how to get an audience back.
We gotta make this a hit.

I am so excited about the news!!! I do hope that happens as mentioned. Right now Fox is doing Season 2, (for the 2nd time!) and I also saw Season 1 twice, all on re-wind and all on Fox on Sunday nights, 6-7 p.m. Pacific time. I also discovered Season 2 re-wind I think on CW (?-Channel 22) on Saturday nights. But I remember every Sunday to tune in. As of last night it is down to 9 contestants...Julie got booted. The show was so different than Season 4!! Liked Season 4 much, much more! Never got in on AI til Season 3. Was disappointed in that season, then along came Season 4 and absolutely loved that season! Loved Carrie from the beginning!!! Getting boring having them air those two seasons twice!!!! If Season 4 is prime time, I will tape again as I did when originally on or if not anyway they televise it, I will tape again!! Why would Fox skip Season 3? Anyone???
