So I have been tracking Carrie's Spotify for a few months now and I get the numbers every Monday, but I will go ahead and post them today. I am still figuring out how to post and put everything on here because it is not working the way I wanted it lol, but for now I will probably post her top 30 songs with the most streams, and then the 15 with the most gains in the past week. If you guys want to see anything specific (streams by album, one song vs another, non-singles) let me know!

Thank you so much for posting this!! I have a Spotify account and I had no clue how to view the specific streams other than the five most popular songs whenever you search up Carrie's name! Do you think her streams that she gets via Apple Music, Amazon Prime Music, etc are about equivalent to her ones on Spotify?
We really don't talk about how big of a hit Church Bells was enough. I mean by the end of the year it will most likely be her second most streamed song.
I agree. I have often wondered if CB was released during the BA era when music sales were booming, how huge CB would have been. Because CB is a smash for streaming and the music video did well too but it only sold about 500k. And yes it should pass BA in streaming by September.
^well, maybe one day it will get there thanks to streaming!
On a side note, I think it’s impressive that End Up With You isn’t even a single but it still is up there for this week’s biggest streams alongside a bunch of other singles. This song definitely has appeal!
thanks so much for doing this! Such a cool feature!
The Church Bells music video passed the Blown Away music video on YouTube last week to become her 6th most viewed solo music video and it’s a concert video. This had me thinking that Church Bells doesn’t quite get the recognition for being a hit that it seems to be.
Thank you so much for creating this thread and posting the streaming numbers. SO interesting.
It definitely will. It’s around 1.3 SPS currently (but that doesn’t include Apple Music and that’s a major streaming platform that’s almost as big as Spotify.) If it continues to stream as it has I think it’ll get there in a year or two; depending on how long Sony waits to update it. Something in the water & Two Black Cadillacs are also looking to be receiving a 2X platinum in the very near future as well.

^by any chance do you know the SPS for the Some Hearts album? That certification hasn’t been updated in nearly 3.5 years I believe, but other music with Sony was updated earlier this year.
I don't use Spotify, I use Apple Music. Is Spotify the largest streaming service? I was wondering if the combined from all streaming services is any better?
I’m actually not sure of the formula to use to calculate albums. I know for songs you add it’s streaming #’s (Spotify, music video, and any other official audio of the song from her account) and divide it by 150. Then you would take that number and add it to how many copies the song has sold to get the SPS. There are certain platforms that don’t publish their numbers though so the SPS we find is only a ballpark estimate. Just like how Love Wins was certified gold when our SPS numbers for it were 300,000; the remaining 200,000 that got it to gold eligibility were likely from other platforms that we don’t know their #’s. Not sure if that’s how albums work too or not.
Spotify is larger because people can have Spotify without paying (ad-supported). Everything combined together counts, but I feel like Spotify is a tad bit nicer just because of people being able to view streams. With Apple Music, amazon prime music, etc, it’s basically a mystery.
Thanks for posting this!! It’s super interesting and I look forward to the updates :-)
Spotlight might have a wider reach, but I think the Apple streams weigh more, because all those streams are paid for, while Spotify has a large portion of free streams. That could just be for chart positions though.
