IMO - NOTHING that ZBB puts out is good - let alone very good - but a lot of people seem to like what they are selling.

I'm happy for them. The new album is fantastic. Lots of diverse sounds, yet it all flows really well.
Were their previous two albums on sale at iTunes in the US this past week? They were here in Canada for $7.99. I just wonder if that is why they have two albums in the top 30 in the prediction chart.

Lots of country on the chart this week. Awesome!

Yea, their new song sounds like it's from the 1960's, but I kinda like it. Country music has it's own sub-genres. Country/rock, country/pop, traditional, blue grass, Texas country, roots,
Americana, even country/blues. I don't know why some people are always complaining about Carrie's music. All they have to do is wait 3 minutes, and something else will come on.
Country music is the only genre where the words, all-inclusive or big-tent, makes sense.

Maybe the older album by ZBB had a spillover effect. Their current album was on sale at Amazon for $3.99 last week (mp3) and so the projected debut sales number is ~210k-225k.

Cool. Nice to see she's supposed to rebound. I know a lot of discounted albums will account for this, but it's still nice to see. Hopefully she has another small decrease or an increase.

I love that many of their songs are just as you say above: what country is supposed to sound like. However, they aren't a boring, one-note kind of band lol. I love that Uncaged has songs that are straight-up country, yet others have influences from R&B, Southern Rock, Reggae, Bluegrass and more. It is a very exciting album. Each time I've listened, I've picked out something new that I enjoy in each song. I think ZBB have really found what works for them, and they can only get better with each album. I would love to see them take home a Vocal Group trophy from either the CMAs or the ACMs in the next year.

She is slightly below where she was at this point last week but it is hard to say. It does look like a heavy country update just came in though.. So i am guessing 13-14k. Hopefully she will start to pick up a bit soon.

That dang video needs to come out.

Exactly, that is why despite what some critics has to say or what one aritst fan base says about another artist fan base everyone now a days has to be considered country or none of them are.

^^ Just go be a fan of another genre - then you won't have to worry or talk about what music is supposed to be country - I think I've heard people complaining about that since the 1950's - if you don't like it listen to something else - I've heard fans complaining that Zac Brown Band sold out to POP - so it's all relative

Firs of all, I will listen to what the hell I want to listen to and it really isn't any of your concern.

Secondly, the point that I was making that you MISSED is that critics and fan bases say so & so doesn't sound country enough and then will say that some other artist who does the same type of music is country, that is WHY either critics & fan bases have to consider it all country or they can't consider any of it country that can't pick and choose depending of who they like or who they don't like.

I like ZacBB. I haven't heard the new album yet but I generally like their island sound.

Great week for ZBB, selling over 14k nearly three months in is a great number by Mrs. Fisher.

The ZBB and now the single "Pontoon" by LBT convinces me that people love island/boating water type songs. I think OWT would be a smash if Carrie's team chooses to release it next summer.
