BA was at 6,747 at the 51% last week. It's at 9,026 at the 54% this week.
Notice the numbers are incredibly skewed due to the 99 cent Amazon sale for some of the albums.

Lana Del Rey is so creepy.
I am just wondering if the reporting order is country heavy this week? Kenny's numbers seem awfully high. I don't think he will sell 50k this week but his first update is huge. Either he is really kicking butt or the reporting order is different.
Carrie had no appearances last week, no publicity, and no sales.....so I can't see her going up this week--- but I hope I am wrong.
It would be amazing if she at least leveled out finally and only decreased by a small margin.
I've only heard one song from her (Axl Rose Husband). If you took my love for Axl/GN'R and put a triple-digit exponent beside it, you would get Lana Del Rey. My obsession is... bad, but hers is, like, insane.
Amazon discounted a lot of albums this past week, and they had a box-set or something that sold 250k copies of albums. iTunes also discounted a lot of albums. Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" does not only have the discounts, when her movie, "Part of Me", opens in theaters this past week with "Wide Awake" smashing at #1 on iTunes so she should be getting an even more noticeable boost. But notable debuts were only Chris Brown's album and Flo Rida's.
you make me laugh. ha ha I love that you love GNR! ha ha
I am still pissed at Axl for ditching the Hall of Fame though. I just felt it was a huge honor and to miss it over a 20 year olf grudge seemed silly. He must really hate Slash to his core to such an extent that he is still this angry 20 or more years later.
I wonder what Slash did??
Now THIS is the kind of E!hollywood story I would watch. lol
Ew @ this week's sales.
SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T CARE BUT I MUST REPLY.
I already had a feeling Axl was gonna ditch the RNRHOF before he did, but I had blind hope he wouldn't. So when he wrote that letter, I was so prepared to tear him to sheds over it. I was so pissed. And then I read it, and I kind of understood his decision. The RNRHOF may have picked GN'R because they deserved it, but they also kind of did it to set Axl up for a reunion, y'know? I think Axl was in a no-win situation so he just decided to sit it out. I still wish he went, though. I mean, at least one of the two main songwriters should've shown up lol. I wish Izzy hadn't ditched either. He wrote pretty much all the hits. The whole RNRHOF thing was such a mess ugh.
Regarding Slash, it's well-documented that Axl really loved Slash (like, they had a real bromance, know what I'm sayin'?). So, it had to be something huge for Axl to hate him. Axl claimed in his RNRHOF letter basically that all he wants is for Slash to recant the "lies" he told about Axl. Now, it's also well-documented that Slash has lied about a few things. It could be that Slash did lie, try to paint Axl as the villain and save face after being stupid enough to sign over the GN'R name, or it could be that Slash, due to his addiction, remembered things in a totally different way and has no idea what "lies" Axl is accusing him of. Additionally, I think it really hurt Axl that Slash basically said that Axl worked his way and he wouldn't compromise, because Axl really tried to compromise with Slash. Axl saw the band as his and Slash's, saw the two of them as the top dogs, so when Slash seemed like he was pulling away from the band, Axl did try to compromise. By 1996, there was enough material to complete an album, but then Slash left the band, so Axl had to start from scratch. I think Axl holds Slash in contempt for that as well.
Now Axl ain't innocent either. He'd done some petty things to Slash over the years, like bringing in new people into the band without talking to Slash about it at all. To be fair, he did try to make up for it (he'd fire the guy and get one of Slash's friends to replace him, that sort of thing), but still. The band recorded a cover of Sympathy For the Devil for the movie Interview With a Vampire, and Slash and Axl got into an argument during this recording. So, almost as an act of revenge, Axl got his friend to record another guitar solo on top of Slash's. That offended Slash. So y'know, Axl ain't innocent.
Slash claims to have left the band because, in effect, direct communication between Axl and him had ceased, and it was annoying that he had to get through a ton of middlemen to talk to Axl. Axl had become a bit of a recluse at that point himself, and he distanced himself from many people, including the band.
I won't go into complete detail about what went on between Axl and Slash as I don't want to completely hijack this thread, but that's the gist of it, I guess. We'll never know what exactly went on, but those are just the facts as confirmed by multiple people. Even the part about Slash lying a lot was confirmed by Slash's best friend, Marc Canter, and by discrepancies between his book and his old interviews.
It's all so petty, though. They need to just kiss and makeup. It's irritating at this point. A 48-year-old man should not be calling another grownup "a cancer."
