At least the percentage drop was much better this week. Hopefully she will at least stay more stable like this once BA starts to kick in.
I have Given up on increases until the cmas or xmas-- but little drops like this are fine. I just wanted stability.

It's Christmas not xmas; xmas= deleting Christ from Christmas.

I don't think you can.. I just know on K102's facebook they said they were second.
As for the HDD final numbers, depending on how LIonel Richie's album is counted Carrie could be #3 country this week. Although somehting happened to Eden's Edge.. they were at 9479 with the first update and now in the final update they aren't on the list anywhere even though #50 is below 9479 so there was an error somewhere.

You have to look at the whole picture and not just her ranking. Amazon had some albums on sale last week, which brought really old albums to the top of the chart.

I think this is a little uncalled for. She definitely didn't mean it that way. Xmas is a popular abbreviation used to say Christmas.
Also, Xmas is not a rude way to say Christmas. From wikipedia (and I already knew this myself tbh):
"There is a common misconception that the word Xmas is a secular attempt to remove the religious tradition from Christmas by taking the "Christ" out of "Christmas"."
and also
"The Christian Writer's Manual of Style, while acknowledging the ancient and respectful use of "Xmas" in the past, states that the spelling should never be used in formal writing"
It is a respectful but informal way of saying Christmas. I just don't think this comment was needed.

Wow, so much for people saying that Amazon doesn't have much impact on the sales totals. I guess if the album is priced low enough..... lol.

I believe Christ was taken out of Christmas when they invented the Visa/MasterCard/American Express card.

I do wish Carrie's team would be a bit more aggressive with sales prices. At least mark it down to $7.99 once in a while. She doesn't need to go the $0.99 route, but some sort of a sale every once in a while would be nice, and would certainly help boost sales.
Maybe they can mark down the album for a sale when the BA video comes out to maximize exposure.

I'm quite surprised that they put Lionel Richie's album on for 99c so soon after it's release.
