I personally have doubts as to whether Lady Antebellum's new Christmas album will be a great seller. Their Christmas EP didn't do very well and had to suffer a major clearance in Target, and half of this album is not new.
This is indeed interesting -- I went back to page 94 (went back to that page since I didn't recall a mention prior to that) of this thread and read the posts going forward and there were only posts mentioning the new Christmas cd nothing about the earlier cd being an EP. I guess I must need new glasses.
BA (+97 spins, +0.893 million AIs) remains at #9.
On Canadian Country, BA (+14 spins, +0.085 million AIs) remains at #2.

Thanks Cary! Great!!
Great move!
Wow, such GREAT updates!!! I hope BA is a MULTI-WEEKS #1 (hopefully, atleast 4)!!!

Fantastic!!!
I heard BA twice yesterday in the span of ten minutes. I never heard Carrie songs! It's funny, though, because one station played the album version and the other played the radio edit.
Anyway, thought I'd share. It was exciting.
Great update! Wonder if she can close the gap between her and Dustin and spread the gap between her and Easton??? And congrats to Hunter -- he's at #1!!!!!
Thanks Cary, I'm loving these updates. Woo hoo the tour starts this Friday. Wonder when Carrie will be in New Hampshire? Usually a few days before the concert??

THAT is a great update! Thanks Cary. Pontoon can go away, Wanted can be #1, others can go away and Keith can go #1 and THEN BA can take over the #1 spot. (YES - I am still hoping my world collides with the real world)
I would also like to say that our thoughts are with all the families and friends who lost loved ones 11 yrs ago today & over the following years protecting our nation from future events. It doesn't seem possible that it was 11 yrs ago.
Multi-weeks at #1 is looking more and more probable. The only songs below BA that has been moving like a #1 song are Lee's "Hard To Love", Jake's "The One That Got Away" and Luke's "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye". All others are either too old (30+ weeks) or moving too slow. And the closest one, Lee's, is about 6 million behind in AIs.
I hope Hunter gets to #1 this week, if not, then next week as Josh Turner is still moving up briskly. "Wanted" had a +266k AI gain while Josh had a +524k AI gain, and this is only Tuesday.
BA (+97, +893k) did gain on "Cowboys and Angels" (+72, +460k) this morning.
For those interested, here are daily deltas for some songs:
FY (Keith): -17, -290k
FGIT (Miranda): +22, +51k
TY (Tim): -23, -237k
TOTGA (Jake): +64, +309k
WANEGBT (Taylor): +1, -105k
Incredible update today! BA is on the move!![]()
with the way the charts are run now, there will never be another 8 week number one like Tim Mcgraw had.
Becca
What's the record # of weeks for a country female artist at #1? I believe JTTW was 6 weeks, correct?
At the very least, my hope is that over the next several weeks, BA makes great strides so the voters have something really concrete to look at and say, yes to FVOTY for Carrie. IMO she deserves it in spades over the other nominees.
Anyone remember when the final voting period is for the CMAs? Thanks! For some reason Oct. sticks in my mind but I'm not sure.
The longest-running #1 song by a female is 8 weeks which is peformed by Connie Smith "Once a Day"
