Tx so much Robin! I am missing Vinman. lol
He meant because she submitted both Blown Away and Good Girl at the same time- so they may cancel each other out so she will get nothing. Sadly, that is very possible.
That list was posted on the Gold Derby forum and the person who said that explained what he meant to me.
BA (-109 spins, -1.019 million AIs) remains at #3.
On Hot AC, BA (-2 spins, +0.052 million AIs) moves up a spot to #39.
On Canadian Country, BA (-3 spins, -0.018 million AIs) remains at #6.

Free-falling finally. Time for the next single!

Someone on pulse thinks we won't get a new single till January due to the holiday shutdown. I really hope that is wrong as Carrid needs to maintain her momentum from BA now- and have a new song released asap to help push holiday sales. I hate the idea of waiting till January. Hate it.

The four weeks of Nov. can be really important for album buzz and ultimate cd sales for Dec, so I hope they go ahead with something.
I guess I would understand if they didn't, but wouldn't that be like "staying out of the way" of the big christmas rush?
Who in retail does that?
Most certainly not BM!
She already skipped last christmas, and I assumed it was to scoop up this christmas.
So I certainly hope they have something in mind to move product.
But keep in mind, with the amount of money she is making them in concert sales, Cd's don't amount to much at all for them. Except alot of work and effort getting it shipped stocked and moved.
Come on, that's not going to happen. You believe everything you read. The label knows the value of Christmas season sales. It was shared earlier but I think Carrie already gave us a clue to the next single in a recent tweet where she said " See you again SOON " while responding to a concert audience. The word soon is the key. She seems to like the clue thing.

Yeah I don't see them waiting until January to release the 3rd single. At least I hope not because that would not make any sense at all. They definitely want to keep the album momentum going especially since Christmas shopping is coming up.
To be honest I wish they would release either a deluxe version of BA or a re-release of BA for black Friday week. In my opinion this would be a great way to increase sales for the holidays.
Teesharky---Rest assured that that has ZERO chance of happening; I do expect an announcement either next Monday evening or the following Tuesday evening (Nov. 13th) in Country Aircheck's Music Edition.

Do most people think See You Again is the next single?
I think it is DYTAM.![]()
I want CUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^I hope not. With all these new releases coming out right now with various folks, there is a lot of very good music out right now. All of the new songs seem exciting and something about DYTAM seems so bland to me. I just don't see the timing of that song being great right now.
YES I think SYA is the next single! and I HOPE SO!!!!![]()
I used to think it would be DYTAM, but I'm leaning toward SYA now. I know TBC will eventually be released but, imo, they're saving that one for later. Because she's released the first two songs on the cd, SYA seems logical. Actually, I wouldn't mind SYA at all. It would join JTTW and TH as another spiritually themed song in Carrie's single release history.

Faraway made a strong point on another thread about the power and position that the album BA is standing in right now and it might not be smart to "cool things off" with a softer single as an "inbetween" but that while the album is being viewed as a big change in emotional and artistic depth, that another strong and impacting single would continue that train of thought as opposed to softening it.
(I hope I did not misquote her intentions)
But I have to agree. There are songs that I love to hear and songs that I think will promote the album, and they are not necessarily the same.
I think I am back on the 2BC bandwagon.
I love SYA, and I am slightly dumbfounded that it is even a consideration let alone a contender for the next single.
But 2BC is the obvious choice if we want the strength and power of BA to continue.
I Want! I Want ! I want ! I knew this places sounded like a preschoolBesides what all you want it's going to be TBC

I think SYA will fly in the charts!!!![]()
