I really hope carrie/brad can pull off vocal collab as sony will be fighting for both labelmates at once. I am tiredof carrie going home empty handed.

I honestly don't care who wins EOTY! But based on numbers and TOURING, Taylor deserves! F*@% it, ishe is labeled country and if she is good enough for a nomination, then she is good enough for a win. (I never discredited her wins but what always get to me is the double standards this the voters display. Carrie is not worthy of a nomination because she will win but you let tween queen slide in there. These ppl are smoking something.)

Honestly, I rather have TS win FV then Miranda as TS had the better sales, radio airplay, just overall! Cause as much as I dislike TS winning FV, I don't think Miranda deserves to win FV 3 times in a row!
Miranda do not deserve to win album, she didn't even go GOLD and Jason album is still doing great! Jason deserves album... DYWS is nominated for VC, it's seems so old... I hope Carrie/Brad wins... Hopefully they perform RM (double dose of Carrie!!!)

This may indeed be the reason, but there's more than one day of rehearsals and LA is a short plane ride(or remember when she took a helicopter from LA so she could be at the People's Choice awards a few years back?) from Las Vegas. So if she really wanted to perform she would have made it work. My guess is she has nothing to promote -- in other words, nothing to make any money on so presenting is just fine.

Yes it's certified Gold but only sold around 470K thus far. (Honestly, that's kind of disappointing as it was released during the holiday and coming from a multiple country award winner!!!)

Yeah but Miranda's album came out on November 1st 2011 and the cut off for the ACM's was November 30, 20011 so it had only been out about a month before the cutoff for this year's ACMs. Anyways, I would rather Jason or Eric Church win album this year. LA is nominated also right so they may win it since they won a grammy for their album this year.

I really don't see Miranda winning album unless it is a phone-in vote. Meaning they vote purely on presumption and don't actually do their homework.
For all the attention Jason has been getting, to keep missing out on this album being awarded is kind of sad.
I certainly hope he gets it here.
I can't honestly imagine why they wwould give Miranda the vocalist award either. she is back to rather average sales and chart movement.
What recording would they be basing this on? Or is it an "all around" award which usually just means to me the "come up with a reason-award".

It has?!! I thought it's actual sales were still a fair distance away from gold.

But I still don't think Miranda should get FV..mostly because I'm not fond of her 'lazy' type of singing, a great vocalist she is not and as for Taylor it's simple really, Taylor cannot and does not sing. And it's probably just me, but every song Taylor has put out lately reminds me of melodies I've heard before and I have a hard time identifying which of her songs she's singing. I want to be clear, the only time one of Taylor's songs and I happen to share the same space is at a casino, where, much to my dismay, I can't change the station.

I also agree that the usual suspects of late, will win.
