Hopefully we'll see SS and LN cross the million mark in the next year or so.

I wish we could find out the sales of DFTRM and maybe have one of those download days. I would hope that it's close since it's been three years.

3/18/09 - All I can say about tonight is that for the first time I really want Carrie's music to continue progressing more to the traditional side of country music and I think it will. I don't care if it doesn't sell as well or all go #1, it's beautiful with Carrie's voice. Tonight I saw her as a Country legend for the first time.

I am thrilled with the news.
AAG has always been a sentimental fav. of mine. From the very first rhythmic pulses when it come on it is immediately effective and identifiable.
I agree that it seemed to have legs and her team didn't stick it out with it running it's course. They had schedule to keep with the release of LN and it turns out that the schudule probably got in the way of allowing AAG to be a grass-roots hit like ITYS was.
I do wish SS had taken off better but they did all they could for that and it didn't quite stick. LN and JAD are two of my least favorite on CR but I will support Carrie no matter what she decides.
No surprise AAG has legs to this day. I just wish it had gotten more love from the team.
Side note: I saw Carrie in concert the same week AAG hit #1 and I can attest to the fact that the crowd "loved" that song.

Very happy about this. AAG is one of the strongest songs on Carnival Ride. Finally, a single from Carnival Ride that went platinum!

While all 5 singles went Gold on CR, it is nice to see one cross the Platinum barrier. Very cool.

And Carrie didn't need to remix it to do it... Even cooler.

I celebrated this event by purchasing the CR musicpass!
Now I have ALL releases of the Carnival Ride album (CR music pass, CR regular, CR + DVD, CR + Christmas disc, and a few itunes songs).

What I find the most amusing is that I really only bought the music pass for the credit card-sized picture of Carrie that will stay in my wallet! LOL!
(I previously found a website with the BHC and SS videos, and (unfortunately) downloaded SYL a while ago from the Internet)
