Someday When I Stop Loving You
Wine After Whiskey
Two ballads that seem to be overrated or loved here; which do you prefer?
Wine After Whiskey. I listen to it quite often, whereas with SWISLY I usually have to be in a specific mood to listen to it. Both songs are beautiful, though. I just prefer WAW.
Wine After Whiskey. I've actually been having a love affair with SWISLY in the past few days oddly, but WAW still takes the cake.
I can't vote. Two flawless songs. :'(
I'm with Jess; I have to be in the mood to listen to SWISLY.
Wine After Whiskey is good, but it can't compare.
Wine After Whiskey.... Carrie's had some AMAZING songs on Blown Away! I'm still sort of shocked she hasn't received more accolades for this era....She did get the Grammy though....cause I guess it's a more fair awards show.
With my life right now- SWISLY. It hits me and I just cry. And don't stop.
Very hard decision. I adore everything about SWISLY, but it is one I have to be in a mood to listen to on repeat. With WAW, I love the music and can listen to it on repeat for hours, anytime. That being said, there are some points in the vocals where the way Carrie sings doesn't seem like the emotion conveyed in the song. Plus, I feel like the ending doesn't feel as right as SWISLY's.
This is the second time I've voted for "Wine After Whiskey" this week
Wine After Whiskey....always!!
Wine After Whiskey and it's not even close.
I like the lyrics a little more in Someday When I Stop Loving You but like the instrumental (especially in the beginning) more in Wine After Whiskey. Today I'll go with Someday When I Stop Loving You. It changes though.
SWISLY is too boring for words, even though it has good lyrics
I'll move on baby just like you/when the dessert floods and the grass turns blue
But I completely changed my mind when I heard Carrie's version, because I think she captures the depth of the lyrics/heartbreak in her performance.
I love Carrie's vocals, but the melody is kind of a turn-off; there's nothing memorable about it whatsoever.
