Round 9: Blown Away vs. Leave Love Alone

The lovely Nicole has been taking care of you guys while I was gone, and now that I'm back, she asked me to take the reins. I'm not nearly as creative or clever as her, so let's get this out of the way so we can move on to Play On!

Leave Love Alone because that song has Carrie's best phrasing ever (besides TBC). It's a simple little ditty, but it doesn't need to be overcomplicated. And it makes you wanna sing along. Carrie at her sassiest.

LLA. <3 It's just so underrated, and probably my fave song from BA to blast in my car with the windows down and sing along. Such a fun song. <3

Actually went with LLA for this one too. The reason behind this for me was while Blown Away is very ground-breaking for country music I fell this little number is in ways ground-breaking for Carrie. Its definitely one of her most confidant performances and probably her sassiest (besides GG) since Last Name and I would love for her next album to experiment with sound a little more.

Maybe instead of going in tracklisting over, you can shuffle it and make it totally random. The problem with this one was that BA is kind of front-loaded. I think PO is more up in the air, though. I personally would like to see it backwards because I'd enjoy seeing WCIS dominate, but I feel like the game will end when SWISLY joins.

Ooh, or maybe you can do it backwards leaving off SWISLY and then bring it back for the final round or something.

I adore Leave Love Alone, but I had to go with Blown Away. However, once again this was very very close, almost a tie.

I think LLA is one of the most under-rated songs on the album. It is so fun, loose, light and rootsy that I find myself super excited for the tour. It better be on the tour.

I voted for Leave Love Alone. Yes, the lyrics are too simple and repetitive but it is so catchy. I love, love, love it.
