Cupid or Leave Love Alone for single #3. Absolutely nothing stands out about DYTAM. Plus I think the Third single will be a Carrie Co-write and the two most Country sounding songs are Cupid and LLA. Both have a good fall/winter time vibe to them and both would sound great on radio.

I was susprised that Carrie told the press yesterday that she hasn't picked a 3rd single yet or really thought of it yet. lol The song is almost top 10 so surely they need to discuss the next single soon? They have to plan video treatment, figure out what she is singing at the CMAS, etc. I find it strange as I would be planning all my singles way in advance so that you can coordinate the video shooting with your schedule etc.

Hopefully the label has something planned, but it is just not finalized yet. Maybe Carrie just doesn't know yet as they haven't had an official meeting about it yet.

I guess I am just a major planner so I like to have things all set long before the deadline. lol

So this must mean that the inclusion of DYTAM in the VH1 concert doesn't mean anything, sadly.

carrie is probably expecting a long chart run for ba the single and doesn't want to release single #3 when ba is still climbing the hot ac charts plus ba might get multiple weeks at #1 on u.s and canada mediabase and billboard country song charts

That song has recently become my favorite of all of hers, even past Blown Away.

I've been thinking about the timing for filming a video for the third single and I'm wondering how the team will do it. They worked really hard to film the Good Girl and Blown Away videos before the album promotion kicked in - which makes a lot of sense. Now that the Blown Away Tour is kicking off in a big way, it seems like it will be a logistics nightmare to make it all work while Carrie is on the road. I think that was one of the reasons that the "Undo It" video featured concert footage - it was practical from a touring standpoint. What do you guys think?

Maybe theyve already filmed it; keep in mind we arent aware of everything they do. For example, on the last tour there was that wicked Undo It background video, we had no clue she was filming that. Perhaps theyve already dont single #3 and havent told us

Side poll question : While I understand that there is a lot of thought that goes into timing of singles (season, too-many-dark-songs-in-a-row, etc.), I'm curious to know what is that one song that absolutely MUST see single-light according to you guys? For me it's TBC, hands down. Thinking about the other factors hurts my head, but I just know that if TBC is never released, I will be pi**ed!

I'm guessing the favourite here is WAW?

I also really hope GIG is released, not because I like the song, but because it should great sales potential (#sellout #slutforsales)

I really want Two Black Cadillacs and Do You Think About Me I think those two will be the most successful and the most likely and I'm almost dead set on they will release Nobody Ever Told You as a single and I will shoot myself. Carrie sings it everywhere and she wrote it I'm really hoping she won't though....it will be suicide to a great era

I think WAW would be a great choice. I think people would love to hear Carrie release a love heartbreak song, and it is a great sounding pure country song.

I want DYTAM, OWT and CGAS as singles. DYTAM is my 2nd favourite from the album after BA. OWT is super different and a surefire summer smash and CGAS is the most country song on the album.
