Yep lol...Rihanna is signed to Def Jam. Def Jam is owned by Universal Music Group. I expect a few other Universal artists to be added to finale night as well.

Why does Idol insist on having artists that can't sing well live appear on their singing competition show lol? I'm not the slightest bit excited for Rihanna at the finale. Several of this year's contestants could out-sing Rihanna.
Anyway, I wonder if the finale will be laid out like last year with the Idol-centric performances in the first hour, and most of the non-Idol guests in the last hour. I hope not. I'm hoping that at least the Top 5 get to duet with an established act as has been the custom for the past few seasons.

Hollie, Jessica and Joshua would both sing circles around Rihanna.

She has a nice voice but she needs some training or something to control it better, but the talent is definitively there. Same with Katy Perry.

It's up to Hollie or Jessica to try to get a win for a female on a singing show with Jermaine winning The Voice, although I was happy to see him win, he was very grateful that he won and congrats to Blake for his guy winning.

I agree!!! I read an article that Hollie and Skylar are BEST FRIEND and ROOMMATES. They went shopping TOGETHER AT "TARGET" to buy a birthday gift FOR "JOSHUA". "Brad Paisley" always get some help and extra votes from Carrie Fans at the "ACM", buying albums and buying digital download because Brad and Carrie are BEST FRIEND. "ELISE" is also Hollie's BEST FRIEND. And Hollie GOT some extra votes from Elise's FAN BASE, for sure.

OR JEssica could finally show up with all the emotion and vulnerability it takes to really reach people and blow poor Hollie away.
I will guess that that is what will happen.
But if she is at all off putting and Hollie does just the right performance you may see Hollie take that top 3 spot.
