The much-anticipated ninth season of AMERICAN IDOL returns with a two-night premiere airing Tuesday, Jan. 12 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Wednesday, Jan. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
