Just an update. The major upgrade is done, so I''ve turned the board back on, if things seem weird give them time to sort out. I'm also testing new features and removing some old ones.

I agree. This forum is the only forum I go on the internet and if I lost it, I would have no where else to go! In my opinion, this is the only forum that is actually worth being a part of. For some reason, I don't like other forums that much. lol. I would really hate for this forum to go. It's like a second home to me!!!
James, if helping you with stuff around here means that the forum would still be open, I would totally help!!! Just let me know!

I really wouldn't want to have a paid membership... Do realize how many members the forum would be losing if it were a paid membership? Personally, I don't think that would be a wise idea. This place is totally worth it, but you would be losing me. I put sooooo much money into paying for the Kenny Chesney Fan Club (which is not worth it... i just need it to get news and stuff. lol) and I use tons of my money buying stuff for my websites and paying people to do stuff for me. If I had to pay for this forum too, I would be completely broke... So, in my opinion, I don't think that a paid membership would be a wise decision.......

Agreed. You'd lose me. I'd start my own CF spinoff or summin so ppl that couldn't afford it could go there. I'm already a member of the OFC, I'm kinda doubting my parents would let me join here too.
THis has become the only website I visit on a daily basis. I love coming here to look at posts read news, play games and comment back with fellow fans. I don't care for the OFC forum and only use my membership for pre-sales and M&G chances.
This is the best Carrie site out here and would hate to see it go....
When I first joined CF back in February of 2005, the forum was almost nothing. As Carrie made her journey through American Idol, the forum began to grow rapidly, but thats not my point. The point is through her journey on AI, and the beginnings of her country music career, everyone on here was so nice to each other and very supportive and helpful. Like Carrie's FC message board, everyone over there is so nice and supportive of one another.
I honestly think that we began to lose people once arguments and the bickering was allowed. I mean, seriously, who wants to be at a forum where arguments are going on all the time? Lord knows I don't. What I think is that we need to get back to the way things were and be a CF forum family again and be helpful to one another again. As much as I love hearing about other celebs, I do think that celeb gossip forum isn't good for the forum environment. So, why can't we all be a forum family again and work to be one? Why can't we all be supportive of each other and help each other out? This forum was made to support Carrie's music career, not to be brawl room.
No offense mods, but I think they've gotten way too lenient through the years to allow these arguments. When I was a mod, we never let arguments get as far as they are allowed now. I think we all need to respect each other as people, and most importantly, fans of Carrie. We are all here for Carrie and to support her career.
So, here I say, lets all be one big CF family once again. Old schoolers and new schoolers.

Actually all I'm going to say about this thread, is it simply proves why this place is sucking. Nobody reads anything, they read a couple sentences then start ranting. If that weren't true this thread wouldn't be here.!!!!!!!!
Oh and I'll add.. all of you saying "I'll help" you're obviously not reading what I'm writing elsewhere.
