Hey, I’m Emilia and I saw Carrie last night. Yay! It only took an hour and a half with some torrential rain to get there (it was worse coming home from Bossier City LA in March.)

So my mom and I went to will call to pick up our passes. The paper that told us where to go was so unclear. We ended up asking some lady who worked there where to go. So we waited out side, then we waited in a hot hallway, then we waited in a less hot hallway. Yay waiting!
So Matt put us in order (I was 3rd of the FC) and he told us the most important rule: not to stare at his handlebar mustache. When we got into the room, I got really nervous and started shaking like mad. I had no idea what to say. I walked up to Carrie and basically said this::
Me: Hi
Carrie: Hi
Me: Will you sign this? *holds up purse w/ Carrie’s face on it*
Carrie: Of course *takes it* Cute. *signs*
Me: Thanks
Lady w/ Camera: Okay picture on 3. 1…2…3
*Carrie and Emilia smile*
Me: Thank you!
Carrie: Sure.
Then I walk away and my mom gets an autograph. Do I just have the most fascinating conversations!? lol. I wish I’d said something better.
CONCERT::
We ate during Jason Michael Carroll. We found our seats on the floor. (Section 1, Last row, 3 seats from the catwalk) Now, I could’ve been closer. There were two seats in their own row behind us but the lady next to use took the close one, which was stupid!! It’s hard to explain why, so here’s a pic! Lol!
Don’t u think they could’ve sat together in their real seat instead of taking away the opportunity from a cute little me?? Was that really necessary!?
Anyways, I still got to touch her hand once (yay!) And she was amazing!! I loved the Some Hearts medley and Paradise City was just a tad better than I remember it from Bossier City. Last Name was really good too. I love watching that live. And I missed Ashley during Wasted, I liked him better (prob cus he came first, but w/e). No offense.
She also looked cute last night, which is a plus. I have some pics that I’m in the process of uploading so you can see. There’s about 200 (which over 100 less than Bossier’s pics!!)
I wanted to list some of the things she said but I can only think of a few::
-She said how much her life has changed and she can’t help but think that something is gonna come along and ruin it.
-It’s great to walk through the grocery store and find out who she’s dating.
-Ever since American Idol she’s been living high class: Now she can buy the brand name bread instead of the on sale stuff!
-It’s funny that she went to school for journalism, but now she avoids journalists.
-She’s always gonna remember her Opry induction and the night she got asked. She’s kept pictures and papers and stuff from those two days and intends to keep them forever.
-The best seat in the house is hers, because she can see all the fans screaming and supporting her, which she loves.
So yeah, the concert was amazing! I had a great time! Here are a couple of my fave pics, and I’ll get the rest up soon!
