The Grand Ole Opry celebrates summer with performances from Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Dierks Bentley, Gretchen Wilson, Joe Nichols, Randy Owen, Taylor Swift and Trace Adkins. Nan Kelley hosts.
Just wanted to confirm that Miss Carrie Underwood is in fact playing the Grand Ole Opry this Saturday, August 9th. However, GAC's Opry Live will not be filming the show that night - hince why you will see the Celebrate Summer show on their schedule. You can still catch Carrie's performance several ways:
(1) Tune your radio dial to 650 AM WSM to hear full, unedited broadcasts of every Opry show. WSM has broadcast the Opry since its inception and today can be heard in more than 30 states, as well as parts of Canada.
(3) Be sure to check out our YouTube channel after Saturday for clips of Carrie's performance. Visit the Opry Live YouTube Channel at YouTube - oprylive's Channel.
And to the fan who had a question about Saturday Night Live...well, in this case, it's not live either. Carrie's appearance is a repeat of the February 23 episode with Tina Fey. But I wouldn't be able to watch it anyway, my cousin's wedding reception is Saturday night. So either way I would have had to rely on YouTube videos & caps of her performances.
