I wonder what % of the gross she makes. At 5% it would be over 25K for the night plus whatever her take is on the merchandise. Sure beats some intern job at a radio or TV station, which is probably where she would be at this point in her broadcasting career. Good move by making that trip with mom to St. Louis.

Yep thats considered a sell out in all books! Concerts NEVER EVER sell every single seat they can...they always leave a few seats here and there...Thats pretty insane numbers right there...so proud of carrie!

Madison Square Garden has 18,000 sell out tickets.

$529,495/7,569 tickets = X/18,000 tickets

I would venture to guess that her take is more in the 15%-20% of gross range. And 30% to 40% on her own tour.

Let me put it this way...you are way way low. These artists are guaranteed certain $$$$ before they ever show up. Carrie was guaranteed $100,000 right after Idol, you are way way low with your estimates.
