Carrie makes much more money from a song that she has written. She gets paid every time it plays on the radio or in public--not so when she just sings a song. So it makes sense to me for Crazy Dreams to be next. Also, I didn't realize that FOTF was a song about drugs. I will have to go back & listen to it again to get that meaning. I thought it was about a bad love relationship!!!

But I mean "flat on the floor with my head down low"
"sky cant rain on me anymore" (as referring to 'I'm high and invincible'?)
"stay right here till it all rolls through" (as in 'until I'm sober'?)
It kinda all makes sense.

If you remember what Carrie said in the interview portion of the DVD that came with CR about JAD , then there should be no doubt about what single will be next. She referenced JAD as a "masterpiece" that the writers handed her. For me, no other song that Carrie has ever sung affected me the first time I heard it like JAD did. It is a brilliant, heart piercing song that will undoubtedly skyrocket to # 1.

Where do you get that FOTF is a song about drugs? I have never heard that before. As others have stated, I think the song is about a relationship gone wrong, and the woman is trying to avoid him until the "damage is done", which I took as meaning until he moves on and finds someone else. I don't see where you could get drugs from this song. |

^ HAHA! Well, actually, my brother told me that FOTF was about drugs [a high schooler and I fell for it, wow!] because he knows how I'd be devastated if a CU song was about doing drugs. He just confessed. I didnt quite think all of that drug connection was there, but I figured that a lot of druggie songs are really distant. Sorry for the confusion everyone!
