Happy independence Day Everyone!

Today at 3 PM is a Boat Parade. This is an annual event. Anyone who desires to be in the parade meets at Woman Lake Lodge with Flag and other decorations on their boat and parade around the bay. After the parade there is some events at the resort. (I'll post pictures later).

Our youngest grandson will turn 5 on the 5th. The party will be a 5's theme.

We attended two Graduation Open Houses today.

Anna graduated from High School and has almost enough community College Credits to get an AA degree. She plans to complete those credits this fall and go on to get her Bachelors. To prepare for the open house she (yes Anna did this) painted the House and Barn, helped her dad remodel the Kitchen and then Anna also painted the living room and dining room. Guys – this girl is a catch and she is a very pretty Redhead.

Monday:
We flew to Nashville via NWA regional Air Link little plane. Not to bad a trip other than we boarded on Concourse “A” at the MSP airport. By the time we got to that gate location we were 1/3 of the way to Nashville. (LOL) We put our carry on bags in the overhead compartment and listened to I-Pod Carrie Music all the way there.

We picked up our nice little Sub Compact car. Dodge Durango! They said we could have a Durango or a Mini-Van. Since a Mini-Van is a girls...

Last night (May 7) we went to a Dolly Parton concert at Northrop Auditorium on the University of Minnesota’s Minneapolis campus.

My observations:

They were selling Beer and Wine. (on a college campus). They make a real big deal about liquor on the campus here.

No Cameras. (until the encore then they came out).

Dolly is funny.

Our first sign of spring is outdoor sports.

We have 2 grandsons. Spencer - 9 years old and Mason - 4-2/3 years old. They are busy boys and always have something going on, Swimming, gymnastics, football, basketball, and now soccer.

Last night we watch the first practice. This looks like a fun spring. This is Mason’s first team sport. He is so excited.

On May 10 we will add fishing.
