amazing pictures, I'll watch your videos later tonight! thank you!![]()
Last nights concert in Colorado springs was my favorite Carrie concert ever!!! (and I've been to over 20) LOL...The night got off to a great start when we found our seats. We had 10th row tickets but I wasn't sure how close to the catwalk we were. Well we ended up being right next to the catwalk. Carrie slapped my hand 3 times during the night. I swear I think she recognized me from all the concerts I've been to (LOL). I got a great video of one of the hand slaps, Carrie is about 6 inches from the camera and she is looking right at me...
The crowd around us was great, we had a mix of young adults and really young girls with their mom's.
The set up was a little different than I have seen before. The catwalk was really long and it had a little stage at the end, kind of like Keith Urban had. Carrie spent a lot of time on the catwalk and on the little stage at the end. She and 2 of her guitarists brought some stools out to the little stage and performed the acoustic version of "DFTRM". Again this reminded me of what Keith did at their concerts. Carrie is definitely picking up some good ideas, as she tours with different people.
Carrie was very talkative tonight, and she was very funny and cute when she chatted with us. During her "TMBIM" intro, the Colorado Springs guys didn't get much applause and Carrie laughed and said "Boys you've got some work to do" I got a great video of the whole intro.
Before she sang "DFTRM" Carrie talked about being on the road all the time, but that she and the band were home in Nashville last weekend for her Grand Ole Opry induction. She also talked about making the video for "LN" and how she had to be talked into kissing the leading man. She said it was really "CREEPPY" to have to kiss someone in front of a bunch of people.
After she sang "Crazy Dreams" Carrie talked about her Crazy Dreams coming true. She mentioned that she was in college to be a journalist and then she said "which is weird now, because, now they are the people I hide from." I got a great video of this as well.
Carrie sounded just perfect tonight. Of course she looked beautiful as well. The set was the same as in previous CR concerts. As usual my favorite song of the night was "IKYW". I got an amazing video of this song. "LN" and "AAG" were also really fun tonight. During "JTTW" and "BHC" when Carrie asked us to sing along, you could hear everyone singing the words.
I got some pretty good pictures tonight. Here is the link to all of my pics:

I got some REALLY good video tonight (BHC and Paradise City in particular). On a couple of songs Carrie is about a foot away from me as she goes down the catwalk. Unfortunately I have to go to the airport in about an hour, so I can't upload all of the vids now. I will add to them as soon as I can. Here is what I have so far:

thanks maria & michelle! <3 | manning + colts = perfection
Todd, they had the end stage set up in Little Rock too, but I thought it was standard so I didn't mention it. Maybe it began in LR.
You are becoming the wandering attendee. Great videos.
OMG THAT GREEN SHIRT! I Love it!!! Great pictures. Can't wait to watch the vids later.
Thank you Chelsea!
Great review loved it and you really got some amazing photos and videos thanks for posting the "chatter" too that is great.....loved it
Thanks! See, I knew she probably even had trouble doing the kiss in that video, so kind of shows why she would not have done anything more then what she did.
Again, thanks for a great review of what all happened.
Don't let them get to you Carrie, Mama's Song is a good song!!
Awesome Todd just awesome. Thanks so very much. So nice to meet you at the Opry. See ya 6/3!!!! You rock dude!!!!
Wow, I didn't want those videos to end - great catches !! Thanks - I love her tops, this green one is very classy - I'm happy you were so close and had a great concert!
shes too cute. i remember how she said she was shy to hold the hands of the leading guy in the video for wasted. it also must be ironic for her how she is now thrust into journalism in the real world, as opposed to journalism in school...She also talked about making the video for "LN" and how she had to be talked into kissing the leading man. She said it was really "CREEPPY" to have to kiss someone in front of a bunch of people.
After she sang "Crazy Dreams" Carrie talked about her Crazy Dreams coming true. She mentioned that she was in college to be a journalist and then she said "which is weird now, because, now they are the people I hide from."
May you always have

Mooooooooooooooooooo Carrie
Great pics and I like the chatter videos people take. The chatter is the best part of her shows because you never know what to expect, lol.
IKYW is always the best.
I have not seen the catwalk yet. I have seen the KU/CU concert catwalk and assume it is similar. The idea is fabulous. Glad she is using it.
the catwalk is a great idea because it allows the artist to interact with more people in the crowd, and so there are more 'good' seats lol
May you always have
enough happiness to keep you sweet;
enough trials to keep you strong;
enough success to keep you eager;
enough faith to give you courage;
and enough determination to make each day a good day!"
CONGRATS CARRIE AND MIKE!!!
Thank you for the review. I love the longer catwalk runway just like at Keith Urban's concert and the "Little Circle" thing.
Carrie's drummer is very good--I love the drum sound on "I Know You Won't".
After watching Todd's videos, especially the one where Josh talks about Carrie's induction to the Opry, I just have to say, from beginning to end it was word for word the exact same speech he made in Little Rock. Right down to the part where he says they are now like this & crosses his fingers, then says well maybe like this & separates his fingers. It could have been a video from the concert before. No spontaniety, especially in the days of Youtube, where everything is available for viewing. Pretty strange.
I love these videos and pictures Todd, thanks for sharing! Carrie sounds incredible on IKYW and I love the clip of CD too! BHC is always so much fun and I love her chatter too. Thanks for your recap!
ee<3 awesome review & AMAZING pics<33
Love me or hate me..promise it won't make or break me =]]]]
great job with the pics and videos! and great review!![]()
He did the same thing in 2 concerts I saw. The exact same words. He's changed it now because she has been inducted but I knew what he was going to say before he said it. Carrie you never know. She'll go on the same subject but she doesn't say it word for word every concert.
Thanks for the review, videos and pictures Todd.
