My Greenville, SC review!

First, let me start off by saying I've seen Carrie before but this concert was the best one yet!

I'm not going to go into what all I did before the show cause it was mainly listening to Carrie and talking on my phone the whole 3 hour drive lol.

Arriving at the Bi-Lo Center; Up till the M&G doors

I won a meet and greet from the fan club so the first thing we did was wait with the other people to get the passes and it wasn't too hot out which was good considering it was in South Carolina haha. We had to wait for about 30mins before the doors opened for us to go in. The wait wasn't too bad either because in line outside, I met my future husband and his friend so I wasn't bored at all

The doors were suppose to open at 6:30 but apparently the guys in charge of that job didn't know what time it was because they didn't open them till 6:45 so all the m&g people had to get to the designated area in a hurry. My mom and I got to the place and the security guy told me I couldn't take my gift in to her and I told him ''you BEST make sure she gets this'' and he said ''Ok, I'll put it in the back'' I said ''No, make sure CARRIE gets this gift'' he said ''Ok'' lol. We get in line and there is this guy named Matt standing there with my gift so my mom went and asked if he was giving it to Carrie since he was with the All Access people. He said ''She can give it to her I don't know why they took it from you in the first place'' Matt was cool and a funny guy he was joking with people waiting. There was some more waiting and then we entered with the others for the m&g.

Meeting Carrie

There was a good many people that had passes so it took a little while and each person had like 4mins well it may not have been that short but it seemed that way lol. This little girl (maybe 3-5 years old ) walked up with her mom and said ''why don't you sing for Carrie?'' or something like that. The girl was shy and Carrie said ''aw, you can come back in a few years when your older and have more courage built up and sing for me okay? and Carrie gave her a thumbs up and the little girl jumped up and down and said ''YAY'' soooo cute. There was this guy to that his camera was messing up and Carrie was of course waiting patiently so he could get his camera working and at try 3 she made this cute pose and Carrie: ''take 3'' *poses* So, then there was Ryan from the FC (don't know if your on here but if you are I was behind you lol) he went then me. I handed Carrie my gift and my picture to sign from her at the CMA fest. I can't remember everything she said exactly but I'm going to try my best. The outfit she had on for the m&g was a red tank top type shirt and then a white tank with colorful writing over that saying ''American Women'' her shorts were two color shades of green with hibiscus pattern on them and some flip flop type shoes.

Me: Hey Carrie!
Carrie: Hey!
Me: *hands gift* there is something in there for Ace, too.
Carrie: Aw, Thanks! Ace will appreciate it also.
Carrie: ''Who is this for?'' *looks at picture*
Me: ''Meee''
Carrie: *looks like what is your name... I don't remember from a few years ago*
Me: OH, Heather!
Carrie: H-E-A-T-H-E-R?
Me: mhmm yep
Carrie: Alrighty
I said somethin about a friend (you know who you are

) and then said
''everybody else says, hey to you!''
Carrie: everybodyy?
Me: ''everybodyy
Carrie *laugh*
Me: *I laugh at her laughing*
Me: Your outfit is cute
Carrie: Thank you! I dressed myself this morning haha
then it was picture time ...
*take picture*
Me: thank you!
Carrie: your welcome!

then my mom got to get a picture with her ( she was so excited) before I left her and I said a few words to each other again.

Me: Thank you for everything!
Carrie: Thank you, too! Ace says thank you for his gift!

then we exit.

Show time

I went to find my seats which were very close to the stage. FL 1 Row 21 or something like that but it was super close to the stage. I had a great view. So, once I found my seat I went to get something to drink. Jason Michael Carroll was on and I didn't see but 2 maybe 3 songs of him but I heard him while getting my drink before Carrie came on. I wasn't a huge fan of his music before but he sounded really good last night. The crowd enjoyed him. He talked about his new album he was working on and hopefully it'd be out by February and sang a song they finished working on. He also kept asking if we were ready for Carrie and of course the crowd screamed. The whole concert the girl beside me kept staring at me I do not know why but it was rather annoying and she kept hitting my arm which annoyed me worse cause I would have the video RIGHT on Carrie and she'd knock my arm. Her and the drunk guys in front of me dancing and swaying back and forth but otherwise I was good

Carrie takes the stage:

Let me just say that there is not many artist out there who can sound even more amazing live but Carrie is a God given talent and always seems to amaze me even more. The countdown was going on and when it got to 59 seconds the crowd screamed and then when it got to the intro they got quiet long enough to see what was going on then cheered again. She came up from the floor and since then I don't think anybody sat down but maybe for 3mins during DFTRM later on. Whatever I say here about the songs/chatter I'm not in order cause I don't remember it haha.

After FOTF she asked the crowd if they were feeling good.
Crowd: *scream and yells*

she talked in between songs a few times and I certainly don't remember everything but I do remember her talking about it being Father's Day and about the familys coming to the show instead of being home (got some of that on video) she said that she was going to then sing a song about the prince charmings in the audience and the girls were not the ones booin them. During the song I think that one lol she said ''how would you girls here rate the guys in Greenville, SC? and not many cheered and she said ''Aw, do we not think much of our guys here?'' or something really close to that and so then we cheered a little more for the guys and she said ''you know I have played a lot of shows and everytime I ask that question I always get the same answer haha''

Carrie said ''you know American Idol seemed liked yesterday but then it seems like it happend 10 years ago I'm just SO thankful to be where I am'' she mentioned about her college degree and finishing (crowd cheered for her), also, about her speaking and said ''can ya tell? haha''.
I know I'm probably jumping topic to topic here but I'm trying to remember so bare with me haha. SS...that song I really can not put the meaning in words. The power of the lyrics are just amazing. I noticed a couple people with tears in their eyes and I myself, had a few the voice of Carrie is just wow just angleic. Everybody was singing along to it, along with every other song.
When she sang LN she said how for the younger ones not to go out and marry a guy they don't even know and that she had a picture/dream of how that would go...she said ''I could just see the whole thing of the parents burning my cds'' she was pretty chatty during DFTRM she mentioned how she knows she is a role model to people and wants to stay a good one. Carrie also said ''it's my mom's birthday today and I think they said her and dad went to Pizza Hut for lunch haha not a lot of options in Checotah besides like McDonalds well we do have a Subway there, they finally got a Wal-Mart... the first day it opened mom and dad spent 2 hours in there haha I know I know hahaha and I'm going off on a tangit here talking'' Don't remember when she said this but she talked about knowing some of the band longer than others and how CMT In The Moment was so odd having cameras around you all the time that she didn't get how people do reality shows because of the camera on you 24/7 and that like if she wanted to go to the movies they wanted to sit beside her and have the camera on her face the whole movie and she didn't want that so she said if they did that she'd sneak out

I can't really remember much else about the talking because I tried to remember this much.

Other stuff in my mind as I write this that is in no order

Paradise City was a great hit with the crowd as well. As she was running up the cat walk with Ed he wouldn't go fast enough so she pushed him a little to hurry him along...he walked slower and turned around to walk backwards lmao. When Carrie went back down in floor the whole crowd looked like was holding their cell phones in the air, so I joined in then we got a chant started and started chanting ''CARRIE CARRIE'' for about 5mins straight. Carrie put on one heck of a show and the fans loved her! As soon as BHC finished and the coffetti came out I was jumping up and grabbing it in mid air and taking hand fulls off of chairs...I came home with a purse full of it

Oh, I'd never tried Vitamin water but I have now because they were giving away free bottles so I grabbed some. This man and his wife were asking how could it be free and the girl said ''stock up the fridge'' he grabs an arm full ''dangit I need a bag'' and his wife opens her purse and stuffs bottles ALL in it

Well, I think that's all I remember right now and I'm sorry if you have to drink coffee to read this but I was told I HAD to write one

Pretty much to sum the whole entire night up it was AMAZING! I will have videos shortly once Youtube finishes uploading them and I have a few pictures I got but not very many due to taking videos. You can check back if you want for those.

I do apologize for all the screaming and singing I had a girl next to me who was challenging who could sing the loudest and we both sing not good

and the screaming at the end of FOTF is some girl who flipped out cause Carrie touched her hand lol...also if you notice the camera keeps moving it is because of the drunk guys and the girl in my way. LN I do sing ''and I don't even know my white girl last name'' that's on purpose for a reason

What a fun review! Thanks for remembering so many details. Sounds like Carrie's got a lot of funny things to say in between all the fabulous singing. Glad you had such a great time!

I wish you could have, too! That would have been fun. You could have gladly brought along somebody and taken the two guys in front of me seats least you wouldn't have been doing a Jackie Chan dance like them or I'd hope not?
