So last night was pretty much the best night ever (it still doesn’t beat York though!). I’m gonna try to keep this short but I can’t promise anything. haha.
Pre-Concert/M&G:
My mom and I left my house around 4:30. The drive up there was actually really easy and we only hit a little bit of traffic, so we got there around 6. We met Lynsi at will call because she was picking up her M&G passes. We stood in line to win free Vitamin Water and then some random Vitamin Water guy asked if he could take a picture of us holding our Vitamin Water and our sign. haha. We ended up standing inside by will call because it was air conditioned and we were afraid we were gonna miss the m&g. When they finally opened the doors we went to find where we had to go for the m&g. That took awhile. The directions were complicate haha. We asked a security guard and he told us where to go. So we stood in the “pub” for a little and then we finally saw Matt. He lined us all up and we headed back.
So by this time Lynsi and I were both freaking out. We were trying to plan what to say to Carrie but neither one of us could think of anything. We were talking to another member of the fan club (who’s name we never got! sorry!) and none of us noticed that Carrie was walking right by us. All 3 of us started freaking out even more, and Matt told us that rule #1 is no freaking out. haha. We stood in line watching everyone else meet her and kept trying to think of things to say. Lynsi went before me and while she was talking to Carrie, I was trying to keep myself from crying. The guy that was telling us when to go asked me if I was ok and I said yes. haha. When it was finally my turn I pretty much walked up to Carrie and said nothing. haha. I said hi and I gave her my picture to sign and I spelled my name for her and said thank you, but that was about it. Of course nothing intelligent came out of my mouth. haha. But my picture turned out good so I’m happy about that! Oh and I didn’t cry until I walked away from Carrie. That’s a big step for me. haha.
Overall it was pretty amazing. I owe Lynsi and her mom my life now. haha!
Concert:
After the M&G Lynsi and I each went with our moms to our seats. We watched Jason Michael Caroll (who actually wasn’t that bad). Between Jason and Carrie, Lynsi and I decided that we would both sit in her seats because they were closer to the catwalk. Carrie was amazing, but that’s kind of expected by now. haha.
Here are some things that happened during the show:
-Carrie was pretty fascinated by the section in the back that looked like a house. She said she wanted to live there and then she could walk Ace on the floor
-Carrie’s intro to TMBIM was really cute. Apparently the men in Reading aren’t that good looking because no one was cheering haha. Carrie did manage to find a few prince charmings though.
- Carrie seemed very proud to tell us that she took all of the pictures that play during IAICA herself. haha
-Before DFTRM, Carrie talked about her dad and said that he’s gonna find out that she was talking about him onstage and get upset. She also offended her hometown’s school system.
-I think throughout the whole show, Carrie ended up with more gifts than she knew what to do with haha
-I’m sure you’ve all heard the story of the little girl who Carrie dedicated AAG to, but it was the cutest thing ever.
-The crowd was actually really good. Everyone was singing along during JTTW and BHC.
-Hearing TWII live again pretty much made my life. lol.
-Paradise City was pretty much the most amazing thing I think I’ve ever seen. I thought it was good when I watched videos of it, but nothing compares to seeing it live.
-We had a glowstick ball and we put it on the catwalk and the stupid security guard took it. Not cool. haha.
So after the show my mom and I headed home, but not before we got our free Vitamin Water! We ended up following a tour bus for a majority of our drive. I was flipping because I thought it was Carrie’s. Oh and also I had a piece of confetti stuck to my leg and I kept it on all night and I took it off before I got in the shower this morning andI think the dye stained my leg. It looks like someone drew a perfect square in pink highlighter on me. haha.
Wow I actually did good this time. My review isn’t that long. haha. I know there’s a bunch of stuff I missed but oh well.
All in all, last night was absolutely amazing. Thanks Carrie!
