Well what can I say about Toledo other than it was an amazingly fantastic night that I am not going ever forget!! Bare with me as this is going to be a long and detailed review (I will try to do as many details as possible).
Pre-pre-concert:
A couple of days before Toledo I thought up a brilliant idea of making a sign for Carrie, and because I LOVE when she said in York “Can I get a Woot Woot” like out of the blue, and also I mentioned it to her during my M&G and she told me that she was still embarrassed about it. I told her it was awesome; she shouldn’t be embarrassed because her fans (esp. ME) have embraced it and use it whenever excitement is in the air!! So I made a sign that said “Carrie, Can I get a WOOT WOOT? ©” and I colored in the black to make it stand out.
My mother woke me up at 4:30A.M. on Tuesday because she and my sister and her friend were heading off to Florida for 2 weeks (I know I should have gone, but couldn’t miss Carrie). I was up for a bit, said my goodbyes and went back to bed, I had an interview with the Mount Carmel College of Nursing at 9AM and needed some shut eye. Got to the interview a bit late because I got lost BUT I think it went very well, I won’t find out anything until the end of this month because they still had other applicants, but keep your fingers crossed because this job would be perfect for me. The interview was for a position in the financial aid office as a financial aid clerk. It went well I think, keep your fingers crossed!!
Pre-concert:
Ok, sorry for my rambling…Lyss and I finally started our roadtrip at about 1:30, we made it to Toledo and parked and what not (after I totally got a ticket and didn’t pay, the gate came down on my car, HAHA, the guy chased after me) we met up with Jaclyn and her mom at Fricker’s, it was a Farwell reunion, awww!!
We left the restaurant and walked around a bit and finally headed back inside where we met up with Jeff (Kazoocarriefan) and Jodi (Sabe02) and her “nana”. FINALLY the M&G started, “nana” and I waited for Lyss and Jeff to come out, it took a little while but when Jeff came out he was completely speechless, he got my hatch signed for me, I was thrilled…THANK YOU JEFF!!!! She signed my hatch “Perry, Much Love, Carrie Underwood” EEEK!! Lyss came out, she was very happy, kind of PO’ed that her pics came out a bit blurry (Lyss its time for a new camera) BUT she was still happy!! We then went to the Merch booth, Lyss and Jeff got shirts (I gave Jeff money and bought the shirts for me, hehe), Jeff (Jeff) arrived and we finally headed to our seats.
CONCERT:
WE HAD FRONT ROW SEATS!! Holy crap!! We were right where Ed and Mark and Jimmy stand during like Paradise City and the Band Jam, OMG INCREDIBLE SEATS!! I am not going to go into details as we all know the set list but I will list some highlights!!
HIGHLIGHTS:
During TMBIM, Carrie asked about the guys in Toledo, and got lots of boos, she said boys boys, you got some work to do…I have that on video I think.
During the guitar duel, Carrie crossed her eyes at Ed to make him laugh, it was hilarious, she makes the cutest faces during that jam, I have that on video to, hehe.
During DFTRM, Carrie talked about her bad habits, like tapping the microphone and wiggling her leg when she is nervous. She said she also said she likes to mess around with the spotlight guys. She mentioned that they pairing her with these *coughtakencough* guys, and said that the dating pool would get bigger because she is famous “nope, nope”. She was so funny!!
At various times during the concert, Carrie smiled and waved at me, and when she was right in front of us, she waved at both Lyss and I, AHH!!
At the end of IAICA, she said “But there’s nothing like OHIO”, I screamed because this is something that she DID NOT say in Columbus, lol!! She started laughing after that, I think because she got a BIG response!!
She came to our side lots and I got some MAJOR close up pictures, I also held up my sign for her I think during Crazy Dreams or AAG and she saw it and smiled and laughed. I held it up for her again and she smiled yet again, so since she saw it I knew she would probably give me the “woot woot” but I wasn’t sure when so I kept holding it up during Paradise City and when Ed came over, OMG he was seriously RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, he did a “woot woot” and I think when Mark came over he did it to. At one point Carrie and Ed were on our side and he tried to get her attention and was eyeing the poster, but no luck, lol. Oh gosh, what a night!!
So at the end of BHC, Carrie hits her high note and looks right at me and goes “WOOT WOOT”….AHHH I freaked out!! OMG, it was incredible!! She totally made my night, making this concert the best of the best!!!! I am still on a high!!
After the concert, Lyss and I hung out with Jeff and JeffKazoo (hehe) until about 11 I think, we went to the bus area to see if Carrie would come out, she was doing phone interviews so no luck. We thought we saw Ace and gave him some attention but then Jeff said that Ace would bark and be a lil brat so we concluded that it wasn’t Ace, lol, it couldn’t have been because Carrie’s bus backed out of the garage and went on its merry way leaving the dog behind, and we know that Carrie would NEVER leave Ace behind, so we figured it was an imposter to tease the fans, haha, and it worked of course!! We finally parted our ways, Lyss and I stopped at a Denny’s on the way home, we were very tired, but I told her that she had to stay awake or else I would get sleepy and we don’t want that, lol!! So after Denny’s we started blasting some old school music…such as Spice Girls and Britney Spears and N’sync. “Byebyebye” came on and we were singing to it very loudly, I was laughing so hard I was crying, now I wouldn’t suggest this because we were driving at night, on a country road, laughing our butts off because we were ruining the song and singing off key, it was freakin hilarious!!!
FINALLY got home at about 3 (in the morning), I dropped Lyss off and finally got home, went to bed right away because I was gonna do this all over again for Y-town!!

First I have to thank Lyss for being my Carrie buddy, I had a blast, we MUST do this again soon!! Jeff(Kazoocarriefan) THANK YOU for getting my hatch signed, it means the world to me and it’s even more priceless and precious now, I will treasure it forever, THANK YOU!!
