OH YA: I got a video of JTTW that Jeff was talking about! It's a bit shaky but I tried! My pics are in the Photo section
Perry and I started on our journey at 1:30! All we did was listen to Carrie in the car! Got to Toledo around 3:30-4:00 and scoped out the venue for a little! We then met up with Jaclyn and her mom and ate lunch/dinner. Walked around outside the venue and saw Carrie's bus!
Went into the venue and talked to Jody (Sabe002) and Jeff (KazooCarrieFan). Meet and greets arrived at 6:10! We all stood around and talked and John (KnightinMich) came up to us and said he won a meet and greet through the radio!! So happy for you John!! Meet and greet started at 7! I wasnt TOO nervous before, but when Carrie walked in. I flipped! Everyone clapped for Carrie when she walked in and apologized to us for being so short!
I kept asking people for mints!! I got my wish to go last in the FC line! *Jamie (backup singer), her husband, aunt and a friend were behind me* As I got closer, I asked Jeff to pinch me because I couldnt believe it! He pinches me and out of the blue, Jamie's aunt pinches me also!! Too funny!! Matt and Jamie also had to calm me down because I was freaking out so bad!!
Jeff is before me and he goes up there and I heard Carrie say "I saw you on the fansite!" Jeff told me that she said she read our Toledo thread! Then it's MY turn!
I go up to the camera lady and I told her that my camera tends to take blurry pics! Then there's Carrie looking right at me! I felt like my heart was beating a million beats per minute!!
Me: Oh my gosh I can't believe you're standing right in front of me!
Carrie: *laughs*
Me: This is how I feel right now! *I bought her a card that sings "Im So Excited" when you open it*
Carrie: whaaa...what is that? *she had this funny expression on her face*
Me: "I'm so excited." *reopens card and puts it closer to her*
Carrie: Ohhhhhhhhh!
Me: *I hand her my gift bag* I got you these cookies! *i forgot to say they are from Cheryl&Co., this awesome place in Columbus*. I also got a toy for Ace!
Carrie: He'll like that!
*Carrie starts looking at the table and waits for me to pull out stuff to sign*
Me: I have this for you to sign! *hands her CR booklet*
Carrie: Who should I make this out to?
Me: My sister Lori. L-O-R-I
Me: I also brought these pictures that I took of you in Columbus! *pulls out three great pics* I cant decide which one I like the best though
Carrie: *scans each photo* I like THAT one!! *it's one of her with her hand on her hip from Last Name*
Me: Me too!
Carrie: Where should I sign?
Me: Anywhere you want!
Carrie: I think i'll sign here *bottom left corner*
Carrie: Now who should I make this one out to?
Me: ME! Alyssa! A-L-Y-S-S-A *she makes pretty S's!*
Me: I love your shoes!!
Carrie: Thanks! They give me blisters though...but I don't know why I'm telling you that!
Me: Haha I don't care! *an I dont mind, I dont care* *i think i said it here but now im unsure if i said it when i first started talking or in here...*
*Now we're gonna do the pic*
Me: Can I have a hugging picture?
Carrie: Sure!
TAKE ONE: BLURRY
*Camera lady tells me it's blurry*
TAKE TWO: BLURRY
*By now, I'm mortified and embarrassed*
Me: I'm so sorry!
Carrie: It's okay!
Keith: This will be the LAST one!
TAKE THREE: an improvement...not great but at least you can tell who we are!
Me: (i probably thanked her. I DONT REMEMBER! if i didnt, THANK YOU CARRIE!!)
*We walk back to the table*
Carrie: OH! Here you go! *hands me my silver sharpie* I always steal these!
Me: I bought the four pack! You can have it!
Carrie: No. No. Take it!
*We parted ways right here. I hope I thanked her. The ending is a blur because I was on such a high!!!*
Matt came up to me after and asked me how everything went. I told him it was amazing! We said our goodbyes (and he denied a pic with me) and I met up with Perry! *I was screaming my head off*
We met up with the Jeffs (Kazoo and Jeff) and bought some merchandise. Went to find our seats and they were just...wow!! Ive never sat front row so I was psyched! Carrie sang her normal set but scratched November Rain.
Perry also got her WOOT WOOT (read her thread)
Jeff, Jeff, Perry and I walked around downtown Toledo and then we went to her bus to see if she'd come out. Shelton (who I spoke with earlier during the meet and greet) said she had phone interviews to do. And we saw either Ace or an Ace impostor! (Jeff says Ace is yappy...this dog wasnt!!)
Perry and I got to Columbus right around 3 o'clock (IN THE MORNIN!)

EDIT: while Carrie says she doesnt want to take my sharpie, I come to the realization that she actually DID take my sharpie! I had a black one for the CR cover and she took that one! I also let someone use my extra silver one, and she took that one also!!
So, I got three hugs, a signed photo, a signed cover for my sis, two stolen sharpies, three shirts and a keychain, and multiple WAVES!!
