Quick and brief review from Toledo concert

I'll make this very brief:

1) new arrangement for IKYW. The way it was done for the OPRY. Just stunning. The crowd went on and on on their applause and you can see Carrie say something like "yea" to one of her band members

2) Crowd rocked! When Carrie got up during FOTF and scanned the crowd, you can see her say "wow" to herself

3) Crowd really sang along during JTTW and Carrie was really happy. she applauded the crowd and at the end of the song, I noticed she wiped away a tear

4) Carrie said lucky she has been to tour with a lot of hot guys, but then they are all taken so its not easy for her. people might think being in her position will be easier to find a guy but she swears it isnt easy

i got 'upgraded' from row Y to row B thanks to a fellow fan. maybe thats why i was able to observe Carrie's expressions!

Thanks for the review Jeff! Any chance you got some video of the new "IKYW" arrangement. It is my favorite song and can't wait to see the new arrangement.

Woohoo the new arrangement really allows her vocals to soar clearly!!! I'm so happy to hear they are doing that in concert!! I really think if they toned down the band like this on a few of the other songs Carrie wouldn't have to work so hard! Thanks Jeff, it sounds like a magical evening !!! I can't wait to see this show!!

This is one of the best reviews ever! I love the expressions. Thanks Jeff. Things like that make me all fuzzy inside.

she didnt say 'wow' into the mic. but from where i was i could see her say 'wow' to herself. im not a lip-reader but i think i can lip-read a 'wow' lol

while BHC is a fan favorite, from my observation, i think JTTW probably means a lot more to her. it launched her career in country and started a successful run. a lot of what ifs now, but i really think if she had released BHC as her debut single things wouldn't have turned out so wonderfully. we all kinda forget how people took JTTW to their hearts and the country crowd embraced the song for its message, and Carrie as a real country artist. plus its a song i think that she relates to a lot. she closed her opry induction evening with JTTW.
