So I had to basically BEG my best friend to go to the concert with me, and she said she would for my b-day present which is on May 25, but she isn't a big Carrie fan, but she loves country music.

Anyways, we got to the arena and picked up our meet and greet passes and I was surprised to see 2 passes in there, since I was the only one to win it. But I realized since I am under 18, I got 2..thank God I dont turn 18 for another 23 days! So my friend realized she gets to meet her too...then she got all nervous LOL and I called her out on it. I'm like, "I thought you didn't like Carrie Underwood?" And shes just like, "well I have never met a famous person before, and she is pretty, so we gotta go fix our makeup!" lol

So we were just waiting around and Matt is standing there waiting for the OK, then we follow him to the designated M&G area and he goes over the rules and all that crap lol and I am at the end of the line so I dont get to go into the room since there were too many ppl in there already. So we are just waiting around and we start talking to the security guy and make friends with him and this other lady. Then I realized I have to go to the bathroom, so I start walking to the bathroom and then I see Carrie walking towards me and I run back to where I was at and she was just laughing. Then she went into the room and they were all telling me, JUST GO TO THE BATHROOM, YOU HAVE TIME TRUST ME! lol So I went pee, then came back and just watched Carrie meeting all the fans. I was totally star struck. The security guard was making fun of me and then he started mouthing his phone number to Carrie since I told him to. Obviously she wasnt paying attention, but it was hilarious. He was awesome.

So its my turn to meet her and I had the tour book and I had 2 different pics and I wasn't sure which one I wanted her to sign so I asked her which one she liked better and she was like "Oh gosh, don't ask me that, I have no clue!" So then I just picked one and she asked my name and I said "Chelsey" and shes like "C-h-e-l-s-e-a?" and I was like, no a Y at the end. Then I put my purse down and took the pic with her and I felt my arm shaking, and it was embarrassing because I had my arm around her waist and I knew she could feel it shaking. lol Then she said it was nice to meet me and I said thanks and told her my friend was going to use the same booklet so I turned it to the page and stepped aside. My friend Amy wanted to go with me and she loves carrie, but she was working so she couldnt. So my friend just said her name was Amy so she could give it to Amy when she got home. They took their pic and then I went to go pick up my purse and I mumbled something that I cant remember, then she smiled and I jolted out of there. LOL Then we were standing outside the M&G room and we talked to Matt. He wanted to check out my friends' tattoos on her back and they talked about it and all that then I asked Matt if he was Carrie's roommate and he said no he wasnt and then smiled. I was like, yes you are! And he laughed and said no he was her assistant. I was like, well you used to be her roommate. And hes like no, where did you hear that, shes never had a roommate (This whole time he was smiling) I was like, she said she did and everyone knew it was you, why are you smiling and telling me you were never her roommate? And he was just like, because I'm not, she doesnt have a roommate. I was like, ok whatever and laughed. Then he said you cant believe everything you read and then he brought up the fact that shes a vegitarian and how a magazine once printed that her favorite food was crab or something...then we talked about other stuff and I asked for a pic with him and he said no because then people will think hes trying to be a celebrity LOL Then carrie walked out of the room after everyone was done and waved goodbye.

It was awesome.

We came in late for Josh Turner, he was in the middle of "Firecracker" and found our seats. I got a really good shot of his butt, hes sooooo freakin hot. Then he finishes up and we wait for a good 30 minutes, then the countdown starts and everyone just starts FREAKING out. Then FOTF starts and of course she comes up from the floor and starts the song, which rocked and I was right next to the catwalk so I got good pics of her on the catwalk. During one of the songs, she actually stopped singing to sign someone's shirt.

My favorite part of the show was when she was singing IAICA and the long gown she wears is ripped off to make it a shorter dress. I actually got that on video! I missed it since I was filming, but after it happened everyone in the audience gasped! Then I looked up and I was like, where did her dress go?! Thank God I got it on tape.

LN and BHC were definitely the crowd favorites. I also liked when she went for her final outfit change and her backup singer had a solo with the band, I got that on video too. She is really good.

Yeah, all in all, BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!

After the concert we went to a friends house and we were talking about the concert and one of my guy friends was like "Carrie's got nothin on Taylor Swift" This guy is like 28 years old! I was like, shes barely legal dude. So then my other guy friend was like, I am going to marry Taylor Swift...and so we kinda got into it about Taylor vs Carrie LOL Then the same guy who said he was going to marry Taylor was like, my buddy just sent me a picture of Taylor swift and I looked at it and was like, that is carrie! apparently his friend went to the concert too and sent him a pic that he took of her at the concert.

Whew! Sorry about the rambling. LOL

love your review except for the taylor stuff. Did your friend like carrie better after she saw her? Many of my friends converted to liking carrie after they saw her live and were very impressed. By the way-----Any guy who thinks taylor is either prettier or a better singer then carrie is insane! lol did they actually say that taylor is a better singer then carrie? If so-- wow...Someone needs to get their ears, and eyes checked.

Great review.....I thought it was so funny how Carrie saw you when you were about to go the bathroom lol! Also, don't feel so bad about you shaking. When I met her we were hugging in our pic & my whole body was shaking...so I KNOW she could feel that lol. I even said "I'm shaking so much" as if she didn't already know. lol.

Hey I saw you at the meet and greet, that was funny, you were all about to pee your pants! haha

Oh btw: Carrie was so cool during the concert, Security had no clue what they were doing so they tried getting front row and everyone else to sit down during the concert, Carrie went over there while she was singing her song and tap his should and told the guy "No", well she didn't say it but she like pointed her finger at him and made the posture, it was amazing.
