Poor lady. She also could not think of even one other big decision ever handed down by the Supreme court besides the Roe vs Wade that Katie pointed out and asked her about. She did not know any when asked. Most politicians know about historic decisions handed down by the Supreme Court. I thought she seemed nice and everything when she first did that speech at the convention but she is starting to be scary.
If she doesn't hold her own tonight and she should be able to, since a debate is something that she can be preped on. The Republicans will be in serious trouble.
I've come to expect stuff like that from her. It was interesting, bewildering, and actually revealing at first, but now it's just, "uh, what else is new". If she appears tonight with a newspaper in her hand, I'll consider that a win for her. Give her the trophy and on to the election.

Ok, my unsolicited opinion: I can appreciate that a woman is part of the Republican ticket, but seriously, there's not a more qualified Republican woman? Granted, there are only 3 female governors (Palin, Rell -Conn., and Lingle - Hawaii). How about Sen. Hutchison from Texas?
All in all, I can't wait to see the debate. Tina Fey's gonna have a field day!
