Former baseball slugger Jose Canseco has just filmed an episode of the controversial quiz show 'The Moment of Truth," according to the 'New York Post'.

Canseco admitted to using anabolic steroids in his tell-all book in 2005, which is credited with opening the floodgates for steroid investigations and scandals.

In the book, Canseco claimed that up to 85% of major league players took steroids, and is currently working on a second book which is said to go into greater detail and provide more names.

It's reported some of the questions Canseco was asked were about ex-teammate Mark McGwire, the one-time home-run king, and whether he used performance-enhancing drugs. Canseco has answered the question with a resounding 'yes' in his book, but it will be the first time he will being questioned on a lie detector.

'Moment of Truth' is expected to return early next year, however, Fox is yet to announce a firm date for its second season.
