The report adds that maybe Jessica, 28, really isn't threatened by Carrie, 25. Jessica gave Carrie a compliment while talking to Nashville's The Big 98 WSIX. When asked what song she'd like to hear played next, Jessica suggested, "How about something from Carrie Underwood? My favorite song is 'Jesus, Take the Wheel.'"

Jessica shouldn't be worried, an insider close to Carrie tells Life & Style. "There really is nothing romantic between Carrie and Tony anymore," says the insider. "But Tony did call Carrie when he and Jessica were having problems a few months ago." Another insider adds, "Carrie has no interest in fighting with Jessica."

See, this is exactly what several of us thought. The interview was done about the time that it was rumored that TR and JS broke up for a bit and we speculate that he tried to call her about then and she probably just did not know if it was a good idea to answer so it is coincidental that an "insider" (if the insider exists) is saying it was at that time that Tony tried to call Carrie, which is what some of us figured so that would make more sense and would not be surprised if that really is the case. I would not be surprised that if we saw an unedited version of the interview, that the interviewer did not say something about them being broke up and she Carrie said that statement in response. I know that is speculation but I am sure interviews are longer then what goes into the article and have to be edited down also.

Thats what I have said all along. He called her when he and Jess broke up for a bit, or were on the outs. Makes sense.

But hopefully Jess can just let the whole thing go now.

But she's not bringing Carrie up, the interviewers are asking her.

I think Jess should let it go because no matter what she says, people don't believe her. She gets hated when she compliments Carrie & she gets hated when she talks about the Carrie/Tony situation. Eh, whatever.

I just think the media needs to gtfo.

Thats what I thought happened. Romo and Jess took a little break from each other and he vented to Carrie. And Im sure that when she said that she doesnt always answer the phone, Im sure its because she didnt want to hear him babble about how much he missed Jess. Or maybe he wanted to get back together with Carrie. HAha. Who knows really. I just hope this 'source' is for real, cause it all makes sense if this is true and not all made up.

I remember hearing that interview when Jessica requested a Carrie Underwood song. I, along with the DJs were like WTF? LOL. The DJ was like Really?? all surprised, it was funny.

I agree with someone up there, Jessica just needs to not talk about the situation. When she does, she digs herself a deeper whole, and then when she even tries to compliment, nobody takes it that way, so might as well put a foot in it and leave it alone.

You know now its getting clearer to me. Tony and Jessica break up. He starts calling Carrie wanting to get back with her, but she is like so over it and does not answer his calls. Tony then ends up going back to Jessica even though he still wants Carrie.

Jessica now hears about Tony calling her- while they were on a break, but she is making it seem like Carrie was talking about Tony calling her present time- and not during the break. So she is denying it, but if they would ask her, Was Tony calling her back in May, she can't deny that because she knows he was.

Honestly I wish it would just stop being asked by DJs and the magazines and everyone. They are mostly the problem. I guess Jessica thought she was being nice by answering there questions. But the way she answered them is the problem that I have with her. Smart little remarks, from both her and the DJs. She could have avoided the whole thing like Carrie has, which is defiantly best for her, and it could have been for the whole situation. Because if no one talks about it, then theres no story.

That is EXACTLY what I think happened. I mean, I dont know what happened between Carrie and Tony. I lovedddd them together. But I guess either Tony called her for advice, or her just simply wasnt over her.
But I dont think Jessica knows that Tony called her while they were on their break. Apparently Jess and everyone else who ISNT a Carrie fan did NOT read the thing all the way through, or else everyone would know that that interview was done in MAY. Thats what bothers me the most about this all. Jessica thinks Carrie meant now, as in when the magazine came out.
