3/18/09 - All I can say about tonight is that for the first time I really want Carrie's music to continue progressing more to the traditional side of country music and I think it will. I don't care if it doesn't sell as well or all go #1, it's beautiful with Carrie's voice. Tonight I saw her as a Country legend for the first time.

Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney and Brooks & Dunn contribute holiday songs to an upcoming Christmas compilation disc coming out in October. "Hear Something Country Christmas" drops Oct. 2 from SonyBMG with 14 songs. Six were recorded exclusively for this collection.

Ugh, why can't she sing "O Holy Night"??
-Carrie on Leann Rimes' charge that she "didn't pay her dues."She had megasuccess early on, and you know she wasn't a 12-year-old playing in bars. I didn't really think that much of it coming from her. If it had been somebody who had spent 20 years working to get this and then they got it, that would be a little different.
Can't Wait!! It's gonna be awesome!
I bet carrie's song will get lots of airplay during xmas- and will give us something to do until her new single comes out...
I bet carrie is going to nail this song! yeah!

Oh that is awesome, will be definitely getting this album. "Do You Hear What I Hear" is one of my favs, however it would have been soooooooo much better if she put Oh Holy Night on this CD --- that is by far my fav christmas carol, and Carrie did such an amazing job of it last time. Perhaps she's saving that one for her own christmas album one day lol!
Thanks Michelle!!
