Carrie Underwood Actually Does A Good Motley Crue Home Sweet Home Cover
Carrie Underwood Actually Does A Good Motley Crue Home Sweet Home Cover
by Scott on March 11th, 2009
Carrie Underwood covered Motley Crue’s Home Sweet Home for the exit song on America Idol according to MTV.com. Home Sweet Home came off of Theater Of Pain and was the best track on that album. Probably my all time favorite Motley Crue song. Carrie Undewood’s cover of it is actually pretty good. Nothing I would pay for or listen to on a regular basis, but she does an honorable job singing it. Kind of gives it have a slight country tone to it. And hey, it’s better than Lil’ Wayne trying to be a rock star.
well that's somewhat good!
Thank you for my set Court! Saw And Met The Cast Of Wicked On 10/07/06 And 11/26/06!I Met Carrie On March 22nd!!!! Saw Carrie At Her Fan Club Party In Nashville On 6/03/08! Met Carrie AGAIN October 6th!
Well that's good.
I hate metalit's not like their regular songs are better.
The original sucks IMO. I youtubed it. Didn't like it at all.
I'm really surprised how people are saying on my HSH video on YT that the original is better!
Everything she sings is better than the original!!!!
Good review form someone who isn't a country fan!
Yeah, I think we dodged a bullet on that one. The fact that a metal-head had even a positive spin on the cover is a huge obsticle.
BTW, andything you are reading on YT about the original being better is just die-hard metal. You are never going to change that.
Carrie loves those bands and she shows her love all the time. If the metal-heads can't appreciate that, then it is not for them.
Awesome. Glad that a heavy metal person gave her a good, respectable review. I have had internet issues at home, so I haven't had time to youtube it and hear the original version. So I'm not sure how the first one sounds. But I bet Carrie blows it out of the water like she always does. haha. Thanks for posting.

I may never understand it
I am caught up and I'm hangin' on,
I'm gonna love you even if its wrong
Even if its Twisted.....♥
I also hate the original, i couldnt even sit through it. lol
met carrie; 07/17/07 − 10/18/08 − 06/17/10
In any type of music, some fans, for whatever reason, are just idiots to deny that an artist covered the song pretty well.
Now don't let me even start with Carrie's covers. LOL
♥ Sexy Carrie, FTW! ♥
I expected much worse from die hard metal fans so this is a good review.

I did and I do.
IT IS A VOCAL MASTERPIECE!!!
Carrie softens her voice from the original version, but, still a "SOFT ROCK". It is open and technically skilled - "SUPPLE QUALITY" AND "VIBRATO" ... The softness and flexibility is "imparting to it that indescribable, peculiar floating quality, combined with great power note. As I listened to it in my MP3 and during Jasmine and Jorge, DURING American Idol Show, and they were leaving and showing "THE ROAD TO THEIR "DREAM" ", THE SPIRIT OF THE SONG TOOK OVER AND CAPTIVATED THE AUDIENCE WITH THAT SONG BECAUSE OF CARRIE'S VOCAL MASTERPIECE. Carrie felt and captured the strength and the sincerity of the lyrics and the melody of the song. SHE DID IT WITH CONVICTION AND WITH VOCAL MASTERPIECE!!!
