Well that's good.
I hate metal it's not like their regular songs are better.
The original sucks IMO. I youtubed it. Didn't like it at all.
I'm really surprised how people are saying on my HSH video on YT that the original is better!

Everything she sings is better than the original!!!!

Good review form someone who isn't a country fan!

Yeah, I think we dodged a bullet on that one. The fact that a metal-head had even a positive spin on the cover is a huge obsticle.
BTW, andything you are reading on YT about the original being better is just die-hard metal. You are never going to change that.
Carrie loves those bands and she shows her love all the time. If the metal-heads can't appreciate that, then it is not for them.

As a lover of all that's Rock, I do give the original it's due. Having said that, vocally, Carrie blows their rendition out of the water. jmo

Awesome. Glad that a heavy metal person gave her a good, respectable review. I have had internet issues at home, so I haven't had time to youtube it and hear the original version. So I'm not sure how the first one sounds. But I bet Carrie blows it out of the water like she always does. haha. Thanks for posting.

I also hate the original, i couldnt even sit through it. lol

In any type of music, some fans, for whatever reason, are just idiots to deny that an artist covered the song pretty well.

Now don't let me even start with Carrie's covers. LOL

I expected much worse from die hard metal fans so this is a good review.

Carrie Undewood’s cover of it is actually pretty good. Nothing I would pay for or listen to on a regular basis, but she does an honorable job singing it. Kind of gives it have a slight country tone to it. And hey, it’s better than Lil’ Wayne trying to be a rock star.[/QUOTE]

As I listened to it in my MP3 and during Jasmine and Jorge, DURING American Idol Show, and they were leaving and showing "THE ROAD TO THEIR "DREAM" ", THE SPIRIT OF THE SONG TOOK OVER AND CAPTIVATED THE AUDIENCE WITH THAT SONG BECAUSE OF CARRIE'S VOCAL MASTERPIECE. nice, Carrie's version is 10x better than the original
